Dude, you are a noob, don't make statements, FNIS is used by tons of people including myself and it doesn't add any kind of unstable behavior to the game.
And yes animations require FNIS that's common knowledge, you basically wrote 2 lines which are utterly noobish that's why I call you noob.
Use Nemesis, and its PCEA equivalent. Much better than FNIS and the author of Nemesis far more better than that little shit. You get to use more animations anyway with Nemesis, and no pretentious program to track pirating and s#*!, so you got nothing to lose.
This is a nice mod, really, but can you edit the 1H sprint animation? I mean, if your chara use dual wield, it's cool. It really looks a lot like Illidan. But if you're a spellsword or anything like that it's kinda look silly with the naruto run. Thanks!
animations are really work well with dual shreath redux momo acrobatic but when i use shield and try to guard while walking left and right it make my char look like he got electro shock for a second or two. Can somebody pin point whats wrong with it or is that one of the modfeature????
Edit : ok i found a fix. If you want this mod real bad follow my instruction. First you need to download immersive animation. Open the archive and you will see straf folder. extract that straf folder(its contain straf right and left hkx) put that 2 hkx into female and male folder of this mod(you need to reachive it in order to copy) then use nnm to install. now that weird animations when you use block move right left will be gone. A little downside is your char will hold 1 handed weapon kinda loosely but its hard to noticeable. Have fun...

Are behavior files necessary?
I'm using Nemesis PCEA and this mod run fine, and I'm just copy the animations folder. Because if I'm normal install, all going mess.
