Doesn't work. I just want an adjusted normal map so they aren't bright like the deathbell fix. You can remove the glow and sound easily. No need for an ESP, just loose files. Why not this?
Thank you for this. I always felt the glow and hum were both annoying. This is a must-have mod, especially for people with OCD who can't help stop in the middle of what they were doing outside to go grab a nirnroot just so it will stop glowing. Grr. Thanks!
thank you!!! i hate nirnroots. esp in skyrim. i only pick them to shut them up, but they just grow back. this is one of those very simple mods that is a must-have. although the green texture is still pretty bright. itd be nice if someone would fix that too, so it just blends with all the other plants.
maybe you can upload a 2nd version for red nirnroots. since it seems some want it, some others don't want it. i for one would prefer them all to shut up and stop glowing, destroying my beautiful rcrn setup and sneaking skills

@TheEggmo Sorry. I've played through Oblivion and Morrowind and I honestly have never noticed it glowing until Skyrim. Not to say it didn't, I just never noticed.
@Anzel I haven't seen it yet, having not been to Blackreach. Maybe I'll do something with the reds at that point but I don't know.
Don't touch Red Nirnroot. It's in Blackreach and what it NEEDS is gigantimous glow shooting through the ceiling. Cuz you have to collect 20 of the things and it's...
Needless to say I nearly lost my mind.
But if you make a second file with the stuff removed it'd be fine, so people like me could destroy Nirnroot annoyance but leave Crimson Nirnroot so it's not impossible to find.
