I yet have to decide whether or not I will use this mod.
Though recommended by STEP, this plug-in not only doesn't incorporate fixes from the unofficial patch (as mentioned above/below), it also alters the values of most potions, cutting many down to only half the original value, while doubling the value of others.
I haven't yet taken a look into the meshes. (I'd use the non-glowing version.)
UPDATE I've taken a look. The texture paths in at least one mesh are "hardcoded", using the complete file path, including drive (not C:\), program files, etc.
UPDATE 2 There are a total of 181 meshes in the complete non-glowing package, from which 178 have at least one such hardcoded texture path. So if your game path isn't accidentally D:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (not only the drive is different from the default location, also the first directory is written without a blank), you will not see the desired effect. In addition there's one identical to master entry in the plug-in, and besides the many missing changes from USLEEP and the added changes regarding the values, there's a conflict with Clothing & Clutter Fixes, which changes the weight of Jessica's Wine from 0.5 to 1.0.
It would be nice if someone could update this, as well as also make a version for the havok physics clutter patch recently released. I just don't have the time nor the skill.
Thanks, but for some odd reason the mug/cup that people bring out when they're sitting and drinking at a bench/chair is still purple. Kudos to you anyways!
Flosse001, regarding your file, is this added to this mod or is it to be installed in lieu of this mod? I would love to add XRC's mod to my game, but the issues with textures and potion values makes me reluctant to do this.
You need the original mod (Radiant and Unique Potions Poisons and BOOZE v2 NON GLOW) installed. Just overwrite the installed files with the ones from my .rar file. (copypasta) Or if using MO/NM place my file/mod right below the original.
If you don't want the values reverted skip the .esp file.
The fixed files are for the non glowing version with booze. (Radiant and Unique Potions Poisons and BOOZE v2 NON GLOW) You definitly need either the .esp file from the original mod or the "Value fixed" one from me. If you don't mind the changed values ($$$) of the potions then you can skip, disable or delete the .esp from the fix.
Installation: Manual - Install the original file, go to your "Data" folder and overwrite the original files with the ones from the fix.
NMM - Install the original file, "Add Mod from File" and place it below the original mod to overwrite it.
MO - Install the original file, "Add mod from File" and a.) name the fix exactly as the original mod and choose "Merge files" or b.) name the fix as you like and place it after the original mod (left panel in MO)
Also in MO, check if you installed any conflicing mods/files after the mod and fix. If so just move both of them after the conflicting mod (left panel in MO) or delete/hide the conflicting files of the other mods.
Nice catch Flosse. You should upload this fix or tell the author (if he still cares about hes mod) to add this in the files section. Anyway, thank you. Honestly I don't know why, but there are very few mods for potions textures and meshes, I don't get it. We have no chioce than to use this mod, or nothing, I suppose.
I sent Flosse001 a message and they were kind enough to provide a new download link as well as provide permission to share it here: http://www67.zippyshare.com/v/pmpMt77U/file.html Kudos to Flosse001 for the help. Think I'll keep a backup of the rar this time.
I'm guessing this is here for people that have some sort of problem or question about the mod, but I just felt the need to say this is one of my most favorite mods (out of the nearly 300 I use because I'm apparently a lunatic with too much time on her hands) and I refuse to play without it unless I'm stuck on console for some reason. I'm glad someone had the idea to make these things more /interesting/, considering how big of a part they tend to play in the game. Absolutely lovely.
This mod seems to work as is in Skyrim Special Edition. I have looked at every bottle in-game. I have not studied the changes that the ESP plugin makes.
Just to add my 2 cents, I'm using the "Glowing" version in both SLE & SSE now. In SSE the textures are correct, the glow is faint (best at night), but there is no animation that I can see.
Merely opening and re-saving the file in CK 2.0 didn't change anything visually (but a necessary step when porting mods with an .esp to SSE). I hazard to guess that the .nif need to be updated/optimized for SSE so that the animations work. But it's only a guess.
I have a friend that has this mod and we cant find one of the potions. We don't know if it didn't download right or if something else happened because we don't even know the name of the potion. Its the Purple Star field like one with two hands around something I can only describe as a supernova. Could you tell us the name of that potion please?
Are you going to remake this mod for Skyrim special edition ? (I love this mod and would very much like to play with it on the remaster ) please answer thank you .
if you use NMM, just click add mod to file, the green + add the mod and install via nmm. now I downloaded the radiant and unique potions poisons and booze glowing. and when I added files to nmm skyrim se for some reason the name changed from radiant and unique potions to Ravien queen of the bolt. which in the description is a destruction mage follower and nothing in description about potions etc and no matter how many times I added radiant and unique potions to nmm it would get listed as Ravien queen of the bolt. so I went ahead and installed via nmm anyways just to check and I indeed installed the radiant potions mod and so far its working and no problems... not sure of why the name change when adding file to nmm though.

can i make the version for the SE?
Images:
meshes\clutter\potions\poisonWEAKNESSTOFIRE.nif in NifSkope 2.0.0 Pre-Alpha 6
In-game in Skyrim Special Edition.
And this is not a missing texture problem (which I thought at first). The textures look like this:
textures\clutter\poisonbottleWEAKNESSFIRE01.dds
Compared to other poison textures of this mod that looks like this:
textures\clutter\poisonbottlePESTPOISON.dds
I think this applies to both glowing and non-glowing versions. I have not tried the version without booze.
Textures:
genericpotion01FORTIFYMAGICKARATEEXTRA.dds
genericpotion01FORTIFYMAGICKARATEEXTREME.dds
genericpotion01FORTIFYMAGICKARATEGREAT.dds
genericpotion01FORTIFYMAGICKARATELESSER.dds
Mesh:
potionfortifymagirateextra.nif
potionfortifymagirateextreme.nif
potionfortifymagirategreat.nif
potionfortifymagiratelesser.nif
Just have to drop the folders and esp into the Data folder and activate the plugin.
