Now that i think about it, there is a test barrel in Whiterun that is hidden in the ground in front of Jorrvaska. I honestly have no idea why thequest won't start for you though. All the scripts are correctly setup. Glad you got it working though
EDIT: Ok, google is my friend Now i replaced the "2" with 8 (because the mod is the 8th in the list, didn't know that) and it all seems to work now(atleast adding the items, the quest itself still won't start). Thanks a lot, though.
I found the error now (language conflict... I had to rename the files in Data\Strings). Now I have the ObjectID's (all beginning with 020012D), but ingame I only get the message that the Object ID is invalid... "Player.Additem 020012D2 1" for example should give me the helmet, am I right?
If it crashes on loading into Creation Kit then it's possible there's something wrong on your end. Check your crash logs for the creation kit to see what it is reporting.
Thank you for the quick response Unfortunately, even with the console command still nothing happens. Maybe I'll try it with a different char... I'll post my results.
EDIT: Maybe you can give me the object ID's of the Armor/Bow. I tried loading the plugin with the Creation Kit, but it crashes every time...
The german version shouldn't be anydifferent than the english version, other than language. I've started the quest numerous times on different characters for myself so far with no problem. If you're on the p.c open the console and type "SetStage SGQuest 10". Without the speech marks obiviously If you can't do this then can you try with a different character or possible disable the mod entirely, load your character and make a new save. Then exit the game, enable the mod again and load the new save. This should reset everything.
I found Delvin's note, but the quest won't start like it does in the video... If i pick it up/read it, simply nothing happens Btw: I'm using the german version of Skyrim.
@dateofdawn and haeden44: Making more armour would be easier now i've worked out how Radiant story works and can have it place the armour for me. I'd rather only do one armour set for both skill types though, so daedric sounds good or maybe ebony for heavy armour I've still got a few things to sort out first though (Need to extend the nightvision to match how long thralls last, pick location types for the radiant story to send you for the new armour set e.t.c)
This is a fantastic idea. you should make more versions for each type of smithable armor of importance with an added enchantment and put the start in different locations.
