In the little bedroom in the back of the house (where the hidden entrance is to the alchemy & enchanting area) there is a big plant that floats right in the middle of the room. It's very annoying. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod several times, but it's still there. You have any kind of fix for it?
Try disabling it with console commands. Make a save first just in case. Open console, click on plant, type command "disable" and hit enter, exit console. The plant should disappear as soon as you hit enter if it worked correctly.
I have uploaded some pics of this home to the users section. When I saw Dall's other mods which impressed me immensely, the noble furniture, the marble and gold finish on the enchanting table and the apothacary table as well as the beautiful detail in the cooking fires I had to do something about the shack-like wooden walls and floors and the broken stone of Windhelm and for this I chose "Sexy Winhelm 2" - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7178
When you consider that new modders cut their teeth on housing I am surprised by three things: firstly that such a large open space as Hjerim doesn't have dozens of mods out there and secondly, those that are out there are mostly old, no longer supported and predate Hearthfires and thirdly that so many modders who love the game enough to make a housing mod for it have not downloaded Hearthfires - a mod concerned mostly with housing and followers.
Dall, what do you mean when you say this is barebones? It is Spartan and I can accept that but do you mean we can use this mod to learn the CK to finish it? Upstairs is a room that is completely empty and downstairs in the children's bedroom there is a planter in mid air, and a table, chair and bookshelf/cabinet all trying to occupy the same space. This appears as if it was caused by a conflict with those purchasing the children's bedoom. Can you let us know what is happening because the only other Hjerim mod out there has no bookcases and uses "General Stores" as mandatory which will create huge problems for me. Thanks and I love your furnishings.
Hazza01 collecting your stuff, before use, is always advisable as some containers out of necessity have new IDs while some others have been removed/replaced
I try not to move or alter Player chest (usually in Bedroom) so that one should be OK but making backup save before use / installation is still very good idea
