I regret not downloading this earlier because I thought it was just 1 new enemy. But its NINE.
Using tes5edit, I managed to change their names.
These guys make me want to hire a body guard for those long walks on the road.
    bravo.

I've downloaded this for future installation. Seems cool. If the original creator is reading this I have an RP/storyline question, if you happen to have thought about it in this way: The way you envision this mod, are these Tamriel-specific creatures that just resemble the Nazgul? Or are these the actual Nazgul from Middle Earth somehow on loan to Tamriel, on a special assignment? (Alduin leaves a message for Sauron..."In the event of my death, send your best to avenge me, and that will repay our old debt...") Or something else?

Would be nicer if you would add MCM menu with settings of their strength. I play with lots of hardcore mods and open cities, which makes me move around all skyrim with no long stays to avoid them. But because i ve these hardcore mods these nazguls are too strong. I donot want them to be immortal oneshot beasts against me (as i ve now).

I'm sure he's working with the resources he has, lay off. If you think you can make something better, ask if you can use some of his material to incorporate it into your own damn mod, pardon my language. It's so much easier to nag at someone for something better than to say 'That was a good idea, but I'd like to work with you to improve it; in order to make it more LoTR lore-friendly.' Although, you've probably burned that bridge without even knowing it, because you insulted him before even coming to this conclusion.

Just be careful what you blurt out to people.

Glad the admins are on the lookout for trash talkers- guys/girls like that totally kill the mood. Plus he really should have read the LOTR series instead of just watching the movie and not paying attention to all of the dialogue (a bit obvious- the books explain the nature of the Nazgul and their origin in detail and the movies correctly refer to the Nine as Nazgul and Ringwraiths). The Nine were once Kings of Men of the Numenorean line, but Sauron gave them Rings of Power and they gradually fell in to darkness due to the influence of Sauron through the One Ring. They became the Nazgul, the Ringwraiths, existing in the physical realm long after their mortal spans through Sauron's will alone. They fell when the One Ring melted inside of Mount Doom, no longer able to exist without their master's will holding them in the world. As for the Fell Beasts, if they were ever given a proper name i missed it, i only remember them being refereed to as winged horrors and fell beasts.

Lewy, I think you read a different book than the rest of us did. ;-)

Are they really called fell beasts though? I thought they were wyverns or drakes? Em...not drakes they can't fly, wyverns then? :-)

That Lewy idiot was so wrong and so full of himself lol
Nazguls are indeed the Ringwraiths. And the "Fell Beasts" are a breed of drakes (which are all created by Morgoth) :)

Just tried this for the first time. A good addition to the game, but not for early playthrough characters.

I also got a bug where I was permanently paralysed sometimes, and even worse, stuck and paralysed hanging half on/off my horse. No option but to reload. Other things didn't work as stated in the mod description, either, like the breath (shout) damage. Also, they never seem to use their Morgul blade, just their slightly buffed steel sword, which is much less dangerous.

I've got no issues with it not looking like the LOTR films. Peter Jackson doesn't own the Nazgul - they're Tolkien's creations and they should be in your imagination.

this mod is very stable despite of years not being updated stable than other encounter mods that i have tested cause some ctd. this mod deserved more endorsement, simple yet effective and very challenging.

That doesn't mean the mod is bad, just that you have another mod that is incompatible with this one. This can happen with pretty much any mod, so don't give this one a bad review just because you don't know how these things work.

I've been using this great mod version 1.0 for a long time.
I'm thrilled by the necessity of avoiding big roads and walking through dangerous forest.
The fear of being killed if I don't hide from Nazgul adds so much to the game.

Mod isn't script heavy and most likely can't be the cause of CTD.

CTD at start are 90% caused by missing masters. Please check back all your mods in your modlist for missing masters or messed up installations before giving such shameful comment.
