I just installed this mod 2 weeks ago and it fills up the papyrus logs with over 30 megabytes of data even when you are not using her. This happens on a CLEAN INSTALL. Basically, you will most likely CTD in combat.

More than 200 lines of heavy script usage THAT and the script stays in your save game file. Use "Save Game Tool" to remove anything with the word "Natalie" in it to uninstall and delete the mod.
Is anyone else having a glitch where you can't hire Natalie? I'm currently using UFO, SkyRe+PerMa, and Follower Compatibility Patches. I don't know what could be causing these errors.
I would really love to try this mod. Having a dedicated healer would be really awesome. In the past, if I installed a companion and the game would CTD after the loading logo, it was because I was missing a hair mod or some other element. As soon as I installed the missing required component, the game would load fine. I have the required skin meshes that Ashen requires so the race loads fine. And I have both Apachii and Lovely Hairstyles installed. But if I install Natalie and her type 2 appearance, I get CTD after the loading logo. Any thoughts on why? Am I missing something else?
Edit: So apparently, the base mod works just fine. I only have problems when trying to use the #2 Face. Any ideas on why?
Natalie is a BAMF. all there is to say about it. If you're having issues with her, keep in mind that she and ASIS do not play nice with each other. In fact I'd recommend you disable the AI mod function of ASIS entirely but even if you don't you should probably add an exemption rule for Natalie and Cerwiden. They do not function like those plebeians and bandits.
i don't use ASIS but Natalie is STRICTLY LORE healer and requires vanilla skyrim follower AI or UFO (which uses vanilla mechanics) anything outside this and the scripts fail.
Basically, ASIS i assume overrides her AI and her healing script can't operate correctly.
however she is the best lore healer, as she only heals using vanilla style healing spells (not over-powered) when i used UFO and told her to "relax" she ran around whiterun healing everyone who needed it, pretty cool i thought. i haven't found a mod yet that does the same thing using vanilla healing style.
Is she a zealous stormcloak? because when ever I try to watch the execution in solitude, she gets up on stage to intervene and piss off the guards. why?
its a scripted AI event and any follower may do this
e.g. one of the first quests in Skyrim is the Golden Claw and you pull the leaver after solving the stones and if i have Followers this early and i stand around, they will regularly pull the lever instead of the Bandit. basically its normal and i find it amusing..
I am using EFF now and Natalie isn't compatible, i needed to add a manual follow package in the CK as soon as i add her to EFF - she stops healing (mostly) this is the same for any follower mod that does not use the vanilla Skyrim follow package.
TLDR: she only heals correctly with UFO or vanilla Skyrim (no follower mod)
Tested this three times, against a sabre-tooth, a pack of wolves, and a bunch of bandits. Natalie never healed me once (I even took away her attack staff and gave her a healing staff only, which she never used). All she ever did was charge in with her bare fists and heal herself when needed. My own health depleted until death (I just stood there) on every test.
Some comments say she's working fine, but she certainly didn't in my case. Level 20 if that's any help.
IMO this and another healer "Magoza" are the two best healing companions available. I followed Cerwiden pretty closely initially, but I found that the mod took a turn for the worse with many of the over the top features and the voice acting killed it. Cerwiden certainly works but is IMO just too much.
Natalie and Magoza (check her out if you haven't) are just the right amount. Not way over the top and stupidly powerful, neither has poor voice acting.
