    Wow I need this. Yet another mod I'm at the party for. I've always been dumbfounded by how few smelters there are at blacksmiths' workplaces. I mean... what self-respecting blacksmith in Skyrim has no smelter!
    Answer: too many.

    But seriously why did Bethesda leave out so many? I really don't understand. It seems like a design flaw to me. You buy ore, but..... nope, can't do crap with it. Travel to the other side of the map first, please. :S

      Because when they designed the game, they expected players to use fast travel to do that. In fact, the world is blatantly NOT designed for any playstyle that forgoes fast travel, as evidenced by how crap the carriages and ferries are without a mod overhaul. Playing the game in Survival Mode unmodded is a fascinating way to experience the world, but also spotlights some of the game's design oversights.

      They put smelters mainly in places where smelters would realistically be: in smaller, open-air towns and near mines.

    Great mod, I have been using 'Placeable Statics' by Iceberg since 2013.
    I will take a Smelter, Blacksmith Forge, Arcane Enchanter, Alchemy Lab, Almost anything from places that I go like dark caves, Forts & etc.
    I have put them places where they were of more use to me than where I took them from.
    Two of the places that I put Smelters were Solitude & Riften like your mod.

    Solitude & Riften are my favorite cities too. As a sneak thief & arcane blacksmith, I love this mod & all your other Thieves Guild mods. Keep up the good work

      I tried this with My SSE games. It works completely well with SSE!

    Puts the smelter next to the the wood chopper in Riften but the meshes clip and it looks stupid during the shoveling animation :/

      If smelters don't appear as in the images, then you have a mod conflict.

      Mr. kruptopyr hello, im using USKP, after open both mods in TES5EDIT, i saw some vertices in 3 sub blocks of the worldspace that are teh same as the skyrim.esm vanilla..so I suppose I should make a patch for USKP?
