Thanks to Groovtama, whom was making the compatibility scripts for Dragon Remains and Jono's DSAMG, has given me the modified script that is compatible with Dragonborn, With big thanks to Groovtama.

please let me know if there are any issues.

this means direct mail to the account, comments may not be noticed for months since this mod does not require any serious improvements nor there any common cases of incompatibility.

Sticky was 2013, hilarious. -- anyway sorry but I never did read the comments here. when I meant contact me I meant PM, and nobody ever contacted me.

I have not played normal Skyrim since 2013 no clue if this mod still works, check for a reuploaded fixed version if there is one.

Then again this mod just disables few lines of code.

final EDIT: after much more googling with proper keywords I found its vanilla bug. sorry for the annoyance!

I've installed this mod along with dragon engine and two dragon encounters since, they appear then die and land. This mod works though it does not make them into skeletons, they also give dragon souls. Everything fine except they die instantly after spawn o.O I can't tell which is which is doing this. I know Dragon Engine http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58813/ is only changing the color so it can't be that and it has to be this mod or maybe something wrong I did but I don't know how to trouble shoot from here. Please help! TIA! I don't want to remove this mod since its sooo good. I use hunterborn too like the other guy that said this, it is perfect mod for Hunterborn's corporeal dragons feature.

EDIT: damn, IDK what to do now, while writing this down just after my second encounter outside of Falkreath right next to Peak Shade's Tower. Apparently another dragon decided to appear and it's a Blood Dragon this time. He didn't die right away and it was inside Falkreath, I have Deadly Dragons installed(Vanilla difficulty, single dragons assault) and it says on the option it shouldn't attack me in safe zones. So I read that this only edits the kill script so it can't be this mod. Agh modding is so difficult. I thought I already made a pretty good load order and won't need to consult nexus for a long time.

With regards to your incident in Falkreath, if I'm understanding the notes for Deadly Dragons correctly, the "Safe Zones" option only applies to Assaults and not standard random dragon attacks. I've had dragons spawn in nearly every small town so I just figure it to be the norm. Not sure if it's a bug or "working as intended," but I've even had a couple of cases where a dragon spawned when I was inside Whiterun (without Open Cities). I didn't mind too much except that Nazeem survived.

The dragons that die as soon as they appear is a vanilla bug that goes way back. This sounds like what's been referred to as the "dragon stalking" bug where, in essence, some dragon you've killed earlier didn't get removed from the game and it's still somehow "attached" to you and keeps randomly reappearing (still dead). From what I understand, this can happen because of a "script overload" in heavily modded games. Supposedly, USLEEP incorporated a fix for this, but something you might try is a mod called "Dragon Stalking Fix" by sevencardz (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54274/?). It's very light-weight and seems to do a decent job at deleting any leftover dead dragons in the world.

The way i think the vanilla script works this mod changes is that it is just a "cosmetic" thing. It doesn't have anything to do with how dragons act as npc. (unless i'm wrong ofcourse)

Old Topic - but relevant. I recently finished using these mods together quite extensively. Deadly Dragons very much changes how the dragons spawn or seems to in the wrong combination of dragon based mods with serious compatibility problems in my experience. Every single time I left town or arrived there was a dragon attack. The assault safe zones are simply if you're utilizing the Assault option. Turn it off and there are no safe zones and none for vanilla attacks but there are attacks all the time. I had my option ticked off.

I quit using Deadly Dragons because of that. It is a good singular mod but I would not add in other dragon mods and definitely if you do not like being tortured by endless dragon combat. I also use Dragon Engine (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58813) and it is awesome. Like Automatic Variants for dragons but only with Tint Masks which make them look colorfully varied and unique.

Dragon Engine shines using Deadly Dragons because they never stop appearing. You really see an exceptional variety of color selection of Dragons that way whether you want to or not. I personally cannot imagine Deadly Dragons playing nice with any mod, especially this one.

I just installed Dragon Remains WITH DRAGONBORN. Mod Organizer tells me it's version v1.0 and an update to v2.0 is available.
I'm guessing you didn't change the version number?

This is great. I've always wanted to use Hunterborn's "Corporeal Dragons" option but couldn't look over the immersion break of drawing blood and organs from a skeleton dragon.

It's just sad to see every single dragon turn into the exact same skeleton, and even more so when using mods that add more dragon species >n<
That's why i love this mod

But i can't get it to work anymore, and I can't figure out whats wrong.
The first time i used it, it wouldn't work. After some time i finally fixed it, but i have no idea how.
Now it decided to stop working AGAIN, and i don't know what to do

The only mods i use for dragons are 'Bellyaches New Dragon Species' and 'Command Dragon' (For flying dragons).
I also use 'Dragon Soul Relinquishment' and 'Improved Dragon Shouts' but i don't think they would affect this, although i have no idea...

I've tried to change the load order but it didn't change anything, and i also tried downloading it again but again nothing happened =n=
    Please help me, i really want this mod to work ;-;

Install this after USLEEP. USLEEP edits the same script in order to fix the bug where shooting dragon skeletons with fireballs could cause them to fly for miles across Skyrim. This mod's scripts need to overwrite that. Otherwise, just make sure it's making it into the game.

Love this mod. Biggest reason I came looking for it is because Bethesda was too lazy to give the other dragon variants unique skeletons.

This seems to overwrite a Vanilla script from the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. Is it safe to ignore this?

I never encountered that incompatibility, but is should be safe to overwrite as I basicly ripped out everything in script that made the dragon into bones.

I just noticed it overwrites USLEP script so I looked it up. The only reference in the changelog is...

MQKillDragonScript calls SetGhost on the already dead dragon. This actually causes the dragons skeleton to become susceptible to being launched into the distance when hit by magic. (Bug #17080)

Whether this still applies to non-skeleton I don't know, or care really.

Looking forward to using this script, I hate the skeletons.

I was wondering, will this mod work well with the Elemental Dragons mod by 184Gesu or will the new dragons just turn into skeletons?

they keep their textures and meshes...ive tested this with elemental dragons and chaos dragons...this mod does not affect any dragon mods.
