Sounds bad. Do not download if you are here from STEP. If you don't believe me download this mod and Lucidity FX and compare the audio files. One sounds like you're swinging around a broom and the other sounds like a sharp blade. I'll let you decide which is which.
Sorry to hear you didn't like it but theres no reason to be so negative about it. It's free, you don't like it and thats okay but please try to be more neutral when you write a comment about something you don't like.
To get this mod to work with Skyrim Special Edition the ESP plugin needs to be opened and saved in the 64-bit Creation Kit and the BSA archive has to be extracted (and optionally archived in the new format).
The archive's contents can be extracted with Bethesda Archive Extractor and it can be re-archived for Skyrim Special Edition with the TESArchive tool that comes with the 64-bit Creation Kit.
Crystan, will you port this mod and upload it to the Skyrim Special Edition Nexus?
@TorNyan All you need is to extract the sound files from the BSA. 7Zip them and install manually.
No need for conversion, or any fixing. This mod only has an empty ESP, which is used to load the BSA, youcan unpack the BSA to get the loose files, you don't need an esp to load loose files. In fact if you have another mod which replaces the same sound files, such as Lucidity Sound FX SSE (Which uses loose files) installed as well, the loose files will take priority over a packed file BSA.
You can use the following mod to extract files from BSA and keep folder structure.
That being said, you are better off packing large mods if you can, as that is how Beth intended for files to be loaded, and its optimized to work with BSA files.
@Crystan If you would like the SSE converted ESP & the new BSA file, then Send me a PM & I will share it on Google drive with you.
Swords, axes, etc. should not have "whoosh" sounds this audible. I understand some people like a little unrealistic auditory flare to their fantasy games, but I prefer as much realism as I can...
