Make sure you uncheck the esp's you aren't using if you download this with a mod organizer. Would be nice if there were multiple downloads or a wizard...
The way I look at it is, you want to soul trap people for black soul gems so from a immersive standpoint it makes sense that it only affects creatures. On the other hand, one does fight more people than they do creatures.
Nah. I've been oneshotting mammoths and losing charge with this perk before the mod. I consider it almost a bugfix where bethesda didn't account for the charge lost by attacking the mob in its attempt to balance the game.

Could launch an Optional where NPCs and Creatures, recharge 20%? It could be up to 100% charge. But you hardly spend 20% to achieve when the enchant is strong.
Just a thought about increasing the variety for this mod, make that perk so it had multiple levels if you can, with the level of charge increasing as the the perk has more points put into it.

I just added another file that has only 10% absorb and I added images of all the versions.
