its enhance vanilla weather so i dont think you will gain more performance from it.Mine is potato too (i5-4210u, geforce820m 2g) and i dont find any performance drop.

Hello guys, old to skyrim but relatively new to modding and I had some issues with this mod. It looks beautiful and plays well when indoors but some odd behaviour occurs when outside with lighting coming up too bright, mild lagging and heavy lagging when in snowy places. I got LOOT but it doesn't seem to help so I'm here. My laptop is 8GB RAM, 4GB VRam, NVIDIA GTX 1050, core i5 and my load order is from loot is:

    Skyrim.esm
    Update.esm
    Dawnguard.esm
    HearthFires.esm
    Dragonborn.esm
    Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch
    ClimatesofTamriel.esm
    HighResTexturePack01.esp
    HighResTexturePack02.esp
    HighResTexturePack03.esp
    Inconsequential NPCs.esp
    Cloaks.esp
    Immersive Patrols II.esp
    Imperious - Races of Skyrim.esp
    WSCO-Better NPCs.esp
    WSCO-OcciFemaleVNL.esp
    WSCO-OcciMaleVNL.esp
    FasterHorses_Sprint_x1_5.esp
    Convenient Horses.esp
    ClimatesOfTamriel-Interiors-Warm.esp
    SkyrimReputation_S2011.esp
    ClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.esp
    ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragornborn-Patch.esp
    ClimatesOfTamriel-WinterEdition.esp
    Ordinator-Perks Of Skyrim.esp

Please guys I need your help. I love this mod and I've seen people talk about how they've been able to play with computers with lower specs. Also, I installed all these mods manually and I have SKSE. Thanks.

I see no problem in ESPS ... you change previously the enblocal.ini?? so your computer can use the full memory to skyrim?

Hi, thanks for responding. The winter edition seems to be working in V5 but I'll uninstall it like you said.

I don't have any enbs but I used the specs I saw online for SKSE.ini.

      Contrasty
use that. it adjusts the contrast and saturation like when u edit photo or something. not an enb tho so not affecting performance at all

I just got back to Skyrim after a break, never really tried this mod until now. I must say, this mod is just beautiful. I read the description & it makes me worry a bit because I want to see more rain in Skyrim & I can't find any rain mods that's compatible with yours yet. Making decisions between seeing the ugly skyrim sky in a trade for rain & your mod is just a hard choice to make lol.

Is there anyway to minimize haptic feedback during thunder storms?

I like this mod and I like having haptic feedback turned on. However, thunderstorms make the vibrations just too constant.

the audio menu sliders for lighteningFX and indoor rain do not solve my issue :/

absolute game changer of a mod. i've played skyrim for many years, this mod makes the world feel alive, refreshed and renewed. the lighting, weather and especially the sky are almost unbelievable. i did not try this mod for some time because i'm on an old asus notebook with only a10 r6 graphics. i thought my old faithful rig would not properly run such a mod, boy was i wrong.. it actually smoothed my lines and framerate. it looks stunning.. suffering with depression myself, this world renewing mod has given me a vibrant new realm in which i can escape to. thank you so much to the creator and helpers of this mo.. i mean graphic remaster. i highly recommend this for all skyrim players.

I have an issue with winter edition. There is no snow in the cities. I get a few snow spots in whiterun but there's almost no snow. Riften only has snow for the grass textures so nothing else has snow. Solitude only has a few rocks with snow. I tried using the Cot Winter Edition Compatibility Texture Patch and i still cannot fix this issue. even with it installed by it'self i still have the issue. I managed to fix Whiterun by using Towns An Villages Enhanced Whiterun snow beta mod but they never continues the project onto other towns. Any solutions? i can't find anything online and i can't go through 861 pages of discussion on this mod to try to find someone with the same issue and solution.

Congrats, you're the guy.. the guy with the overly specific problem that was inevitably going to happen to some other guy several years later. I'm the other guy, did you ever find a fix?

Well, I'm getting ready to try out a few new-to-me weather mods. Probably will end up coming back to CoT, as usual.

I used this mod for a while but its just so dark outside that I can not see anything (on default). I loved the rest of the mod though. Is there someway to turn up the brightness at night without using vanilla settings (which didn't do much)? I even installed ELFX and Lanterns of skyrim but its still so dark I cant see my hands or anything.
