The location you've chosen is perfect, as it is not touched by other Riverwood mods.
You can add a few other items to the mod, maybe like: alchemy garden, workbench, fishing poles, hot spring pool, drinking well, archery target, lanterns and a cooking pot for the campfire.
Move the smelter, forge, enchanting table, alchemy table, etc. to a basement, or maybe to the back of the house, so these bigger items are tucked away unobtrusively. Add a small stable with some hay sacks for the horse, and some birds and insects, and it would be perfect.
There is a workbench and archery targets in the mod. I'd add a alchemy garden but since it is in the woods that is kind of redundant. Since I already have a cooking pot I didn't feel like it needed one on the out side. The forge, enchanting table, and alchemy table are already in a basement. The only thing that is outside is the smelter and was out of the way. (no room behind the house for anything).
The location is perfect, its and untouched (so far) are which is also beautiful. Is not riverside, more like streamside (so the name is sorta misleading) Is beyond overpowered and unbalanced, the extremely well stocked ingot area is way way beyond a normal game. It breaks the balance because you can just go and grab it (there is no quest to get inside or difficult) The mine is also lore unfriendly, as the ores normally doesnt get to appear all together like that, and is unbalanced too.
It is a nice house, in a different area. Good if you are looking for something extra and a bit of god mode. But if you are looking for a more balanced experience and hardcore, its best to avoid or delete by your own all the extra things.
I never claimed for it to be lore friendly, or balanced for that matter. The name is just a name, I didn't say it was by a river I called the mod "Riverside Cabin", I think the pictures are obvious enough to show it isn't by a raging river. Like I said in my description it was my first mod. I just did this for practice.
@Breach9392 Well as I said before, this was just for practice and I wasn't trying to make it all DECed out. I also didn't want to add a bunch of stuff, as it's a very small cabin and plan to make a actual home with plenty of stuff later on.
nice mod my friend this simple cabin is a nice place for retreat. However u need to fix the cupboard with either wardrobes or bookcase + u need to add weaponracks and tanning rack outside to make it look like a hunter cabin but if u want to make it a real home with bulky stuff u could add mannequins forge smelter workbench and enchanting tables etc. Nice work u deserve an endorse
