longshot, i doubt anyone reads these posts this long after release, but is there a way we can get this bow not to accept the buffs from enchanting/conjuration perks?

my Archer roleplay character's stipulations include maxxing the hell out of my stamina, no HP/magicka, and using the hell out of the enchanting tree to buff my spells, but if she spawns with a bow that doesn't need enchanting to be able to use that's as powerful as one that costs like a million times more then i feel like after i craft my bow that i'm making absolutely no progression. something about picking up the regular Bound Bow spell after what feels like years of gameplay feels so rewarding.

i still love this mod 'cause even without having to upgrade to a regular Bound Bow, i do still feel progression from ranking enchanting/conjuration, but i feel like that'd add some balance and excitement. i use other mods that add enchants to bound bows and mods that tweak archery, and it's been working with all of that s#*! so far. i love this mod, i wish people would know what i'm doing if i shouted it from the rooftops.

Sadly I haven't had much time lately to work with the creation kit. You or anyone else can use this mod to make the changes that you want, I am perfectly fine with that. I'm glad you enjoyed the mod overall.

Shaunofdusk, Thanks, I really appreciate it. Using the regular bound bow spell was practically impossible for someone that didn't focus on being a mage. Having to carry a bow around all the time and worry about arrows was another problem. Fighting dragons without range damage is pretty much impossible. I'm glad this mod was able to help you.

I scoured all of Skyrim for a Bound Bow tome for my Archer, then I saw it costed 182 magicka. 182. I then proceeded to scour all of Skyrim Nexus for a more "non-mage" friendly bound bow. This was my best option. A small little mod that is frankly quite well done. Nice job, Isaac. :p

GunnarsGalor, there are mods out there that have bound bows as permanent weapons. Although, that would require carrying extra stuff, like a normal bow. The useful part of this mod is being able to cast the bow anytime, and anywhere without having to carry bows and add extra weight. Here's a link I found to one as a permanent weapon. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=14687

Curious, is there anyway to make that bow into a permanent item that can be improved and enchanted?

joel4565, No problem, glad the mod helped. The Create Bow should still have the same exact stats as the regular spell. I didn't change anything with the damage stats. Also you will still benefit from the Mystic Binding perk once you get that unlocked, along with any other benefits that were already implemented.

Thank you for the mod. I just tried it on my level 5 character and it worked as expected. Does this bound bow do the same damage as the "real" spell? I will endorse it after the timer allows it.
