Hey thanks for the door, but you really need to consider relocating it. It seems like half the mod community thinks the heavily scripted area around the sawmill in riverwood is a great place to put chests and stuff. This ain't Oblivion. This door messes with the pathing in the center of riverwood, presumably because Qasmoke isn't actually supposed to have a location in world, preventing NPC's from completing their idle packages. You need to move it away from npc's and their idle packages. But then again things that fix one thing and break another seems to be a Skyrim tradition, like the version 1.9 patch. If you want to fix the crash, move the door to the middle of nowhere and just give us a location marker for it. Sorry if I sound too frank about this but you came up with a great and useful tool that cost me a day of messing with mods to find the problem, which is distressing because I used it so seldom. Now I won't use it at all. Unendorsed for now.
Listen, I'm all for no conflictions if at all possible, but what it seems like you're getting at is just having the mod maker COMPLETELY AVOID ALL MODS THAT MAY BE USING THAT SPACE. Which is highly unrealistic. Secret Squirrel had more of a reason to comment as it is undeniably frustrating having to deal with these issues. I might just be overthinking this but that's how it came off to me.
I agree that this is a sweet mod and that is sucks so many people are modding the same area. Would it make more sense to just move the trap door over to starting stones that are nearby? I'm not sure a lot of mods mess with that area or not.
Maybe, as a nexus community, we could all get together and communicate, and all the modders can decide on locations for things, and if a location is taken, they can use another one, or whatever.
I mean, this IS a modding COMMUNITY, maybe we should start something new here like that, we could only benefit from it
With all due respect for your work, it is SO much easier to type "coc qasmoke" into the console... I don't see any point for this mod, unless I'm missing something?
Unless I've been living under a rock or something every time I type coc qasmoke i get instant ctd and i have all the dlc installed...i searched and found dragonborn dlc to be the cause...is there any fix to this? Any and all help is appreciated.
it's interesting for me to read all the complaints. When I installed it I also got ctd's when I tried to enter the door. I tried to clean it and couldn't so I uninstalled it but the door stayed. It works beautifully now. Very odd, but I'm certainly not going to complain. I love having it there. Are there scripts that make it keep working? Just curious, I don't really care why. I just love that it works so well for me. Thank you.

EDIT: Moved it a little further up at riverwood, tell me if it still crashes.
