    That's what I searched!
I always felt like a slave of cooldown, sometimes pressing the shout key as carefully as I can to avoid too long waiting times, for example in combat. Now the tide has turned, simply and nicely.

Hope it works well with the German version of Skyrim.

I don't know if that's possible. Currently they all share the same timer. No idea whether or not that's hard-coded, but my guess would be that it is.

yes, but what I mean is: you shout, you can make ANOTHER shout while the one used up recharges....

Could you please clarify the question? All shouts have their own cooldowns and all words of power within each shout can also be set independently (i.e. you could make them all 0 secs or 10 mins).

not possible to give each shout separate cooldown, right?

"Alternative 1" still penalizes and "Alternative 2" feels almost cheat-like to me (I think you and I agree on this last point)

And I don't consider your "downside" a downside. Why learn them if you can't/won't use them? Spend 30-60 minute is a dungeon and then find a dragon and survive the fight so that you can unlock something you won't use? I'm sure you have an excellent point in there somewhere, but I think this scenario is exactly what I felt I was forced into and hoped to change.

Finally, yes, my system is more linear. That was kinda sorta the point. To create something different that the completely random vanilla system.

I understand your point not wanting to suffer from penalties when you should actually be getting better. That's why I posted two alternatives, which would, respectively, reduce or the discard the higher cooldown penalty. Á downside of your system is, apart from being overpowered later on, that once we learn two or three words of shouts, there is no point at all to not make use of the better versions. In vanilla, I sometimes opt for only one or two words, even if i know all three, because in certain situations the lower cooldown may be more useful than the enhanced effect. In comparison, your system is more linear.

But hey, it's your mod, so by all means do what you believe to be appropriate!

Indeed, one COULD simply shout all the enemies to death...after they found all the word walls for that shout. I guess I'm assuming that anyone interested in this mod would show some measure of restraint, but if they opted to shout their way through every fight, then I don't see how that would be any different than say playing as a mage. I wanted the ability to use more powerful shouts without feeling as though I was being penalized for doing so (who uses tier 3 storm call knowing that it will be 10 minutes before they can "fus", let alone "do rah" again?).

I've seen plenty of shout mods that I would categorize as "ridiculously overpowered". I don't think this qualifies, though I appreciate that you took the time to provide feedback.

Good idea in general, but you go way over the top. What you have provided is a ridiculously overpowered shout system. The shouts do get better, so actually lowering cooldown times compared to tier 1 will allow to you to beat all your enemies by simply shouting them all to the ground.

A more balanced system would be to make the cooldown increase more slowly, i.e. for unrelenting force 15, 20, 30, or maybe even not change cooldowns for different tiers at all (i.e. leave all cooldowns at the same cooldown value, e.g. 20 sec for unrelenting force), though this would already be insanely powerful.
