I will not be porting this mod to skyrim special edition or XBOX myself. However, if anyone else wants to do so, they may, as long as they do credit me.
Gotta say I love the way my Skyrim looks now ... it is awesome. I have a huge variety of trees now in different sizes, its great. As far as I've seen I have only 1 minor issue. The stable for Lakeview Manor has a tree growing up in the middle of it and the tree is also floating in midair. I tried filling the gap with chunks of stone and ore but looks pretty weird ... that and not building the stable for that area. I'm not a Modder so I have no idea how hard or easy it would be to fix the issue, either take the tree out or at least put it in the ground. If you could please fix the tree I would greatly appreciate it. Again let me say that other than my 1 small issue I love the mod and how it has changed my game for the better. Thank you.
ty for this great mod but i gat one small problem can you plz tjek it out, the pease of land you can buy from roikstead there you can build a stable but when you build it you build it in a tree :-( but fantastik mod ty for so much and can you plz look at it
Still one of my favorite Tree Mods out there. I'm on SE and I've got a somewhat decent PC now (1080ti, 16 GB RAM, i7k, and all that) and I've been playing around with tree mods on SE that look great. However, they all lack one thing comparatively: There are no gigantic trees to make Skyrim's forests feel like a dense, dark forest! In fact, all of the logs at the lumber mills are thicker than 80% of the tree's from all those mods and it makes me wonder where the loggers find those trees. Ulvenwald is awesome for making great fantasy forests, and Happy Little Tree's has excellent density for the performance you get, but none of them make the woods feel ancient and intimidating.
Not only that but "Simply Bigger Trees" is a mess as well. All it does is make the tree's meshes bigger - all of them - and it creates a lot of performance issues. This mod picks and chooses what tree's to make bigger, and it even decreases some trees' sizes to make them feel way more diverse. Best of all is that IF a mod adds trees to the world space - say someone modifies the Orc Strongholds and adds a few tree's close to the entrance - then those trees aren't affected by this mod and don't get bigger and ruin the whole aesthetic. It makes Falkreath feel dense and lost in a dark forest, and the Rift feels like a magical fairy tale woods that its great.
To get it working on SE, all you have to do is load the mod up into the SE Creation Kit and resave it. Thats it. Then it works flawlessly. No CAO, No Nif Optimizer, no anything, and it works with retextures like EVT as long as it affects the vanilla trees.
Anyone have a port to SE available for download? I have bad luck with CAO & nif optimizer plus Simply Bigger Trees SE is causin performance problems with me (possibly more there than this mod here in LE)
Still one of my favorite mods it changes the entire look of the game and makes the forests look ancient-- It's such a gorgeous experience walking through forests and having them tower over you, they look so magical paired with SFO. Thank you!!
