Good news everyone. The complete exterior Project Parallax is in full swing development. I have completely remastered and hand painted all the previous parallax maps from all my Project Parallax mods for enhanced precision and effect. I will be adding Riften, Winterhold, and farms&villages.
Amidianborne has supplied his own parallax maps for his roads/bridges. Serious HD only affects landscape/ground textures I belive, so you are good to go. I will be re doing my own parallax maps for Amidianborne's roads and bridges however, simply because I hand paint mine so that it utilizes the parallax effect as cleanly and accurately as possible. You will have to install his parallax maps over mine until I release my own version of his.
When I am far away from some walls or doors they look like this:
Then as I get closer it switches to this:
This issue is the primary reason why I haven't really used these parallax mods. Many doors or walls have this issue. I have ENB installed with FixParallaxBugs=True set.
This is a problem with the interior parallax shaders, and its the reason I stopped doing interiors. Go to your data/meshes/architecture/whiterun/wrinteriors folder and delete the wrcastle folder. These issues will not exist in the remastered/finished version of Project Parallax, which you can expect hopefully this coming Friday.
Does anyone know if there's anyway to enable the parallax settings with a standard enb series preset without adding any additional effects into the game ?
I am using ENB v.0.200 with the following code in the enblocal.ini: "UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true" I am not sure if it works, but it seems to work. Maybe the mod author (osmodius) can enlighten us?
