    For those having trouble, there is a Skyrim.ini setting for this "problem."

    Merge the following into your ini (if "[Camera]" doesn't exist, add it):

    [Camera]
    fMouseWheelZoomSpeed=60.0000
    f1st3rdSwitchDelay=0.9500
    iHorseTransitionMillis=001

    I hope this helps.

    If you are using any first person or third person camera mod that conflicts with these changes , for example enhanced camera options can make your char disappear in first person when going from third to first person with these camera options on , instead of the 60.00 zoom speed provided in this mod use EXACTLY 13.00 or 12.00 (13.00 is best if it works for you so try 13.00 first) anyway the number u put would depend on your FPS if its high you may need to put it lower between 5 and 13 , see what works for you, and your char model will no longer disapear upon going into first person with the F key.

    Alas if that doesnt solve your issue , try this mod : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19310?tab=files&file_id=62997
    it has files for both oldrim and SE , the oldrim version of the mod is in the Old files section under downloads.

    good luck :D !

    I'm starting a fresh installation of Skyrim, and this mod doesn't have any affect other than the negative ones I mentioned in my previous comment. Help, please?

    By Azura, thank you, Graxster! This was such an annoyance in-game and it was such a simple thing to change thanks to your help!
    Now if only I can get the 3rd person camera to be in the center instead of off to the side. I can't stand that "over the shoulder" view. Anybody know?

    Has anyone been having issues with the vanity camera because of this mod? After using this, my vanity cam is now inverting (going left when moving mouse right) and the vanity camera also will not work if walking or running, if walking or running it continues to steer the character until the mousewheel is released which changes the POV. Another odd, though less active side effect is that when changing from 1st to 3rd person view, the character will take a step forward. Can anyone tell me how I might fix these issues? Otherwise, this is an excellent mod.

    Yep. That is awesome.
    I'm only wondering why you suggest changing the mousewheel zoom speed as well.
