o yeah, can the book be added to a place where its more in sight? in that room where you fight his red wolf soul (hircines curse) at the back there is a grave on top of the stairs yes? is there no place to place it there?
btw you have no idea how much i love kodlak's shock wave attack XD he gets knocked in the air and still while flying he shoots a aimed shock wave and hits the bullseye o yeah!!!
Hi Soli, I updated my description where to locate the Records. But I might as well put it here also.
As you enter the tomb, turn right and it will lead you to the spiral stairway that goes to the lower levels of the dungeon. Right next to the stairway, there's a shelf with a leveled helmet. Right below the helmet, there should be a pot. Right below the pot you should be able to find the book. For some reason that pot likes to go over the book.
Let me know if you still can't find it. I'll take a screen shot and post it so it will help also.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, is there some way to have Kodlak available for dialogue or something? Maybe at least just to dismiss him.

after you finish a specific quest then the book will appear?
