This mod looks interesting but there is much negative feedback and it looks abandoned. Is there any hope that it can be updated or remade because it looks lite, simple and realistic and it is a pity that it is not supported.
The author has not logged in since 2012. "Sneak Tweak" was a good simple detection mod back then, but its 2016 now. (shameless necro-plug) My "Realistic AI Detection" mod is in a sense a natural evolution of this old mod. It does much the same thing as this mod, also light and simple in a sense, but also far more realistic and advanced.
I didn't like the drastic changes most stealth mods made so I decided to put together a compilation of some different ones including this one. Seems pretty good. Would maybe prefer the NPC view radius to not be included, but liking it overall.
Doesn't seem to work for me, I tried reinstalling the mod with NMM, after uninstalling the .esp was left in the data folder, deleted that, then reinstalled the mod with a clean save, still doesn't work.
I'm getting the same problem as WhiteKnightLeo. I get detected even when at completely hidden from view. Enemies have been able to track my character through walls and even on different floors. If I stop moving, I'm undetected, but as soon as I move everything tracks me.
This didn't seem to work for me. Works fine outside when it's daytime. But when I'm inside or when it's dark, I could just keep hitting them in while sneaking and they won't even detect me.
It may not be this mod, but its all I can do to hide at all. I keep getting spotted even when there's nothing around. I get spotted in town even when im behind walls, wearing only light armor, with muffle on. No clue whats going on.
