Just stumbled across this mod, and been trying it out ingame. Reading the posts, I really don't care what color the ingots are; it's the fact that it works! Good mod, and good idea1 XD

Would be better if you colored the ingots to the texture similar to a Sigil Stone. Darker, with a mixture of red and black. Slightly shiny,

I believe he means: it's possible, but not while being lore-friendly, or just, incredibly out of place.
Surely he realizes it technically can be done, he's just pointing out it goes against everything TES lore tells us about how daedric armour works in general, and since you've used logic in your statements, I'd say differently, if we're on the topic of it being lore-friendly. Lore-wise, daedric hearts bind the daedra it came from to the armour, or weapon, that is made (I suppose it's more like "corrupted ebony" if this is the case). Using this argument, it's not logical at all for one daedric heart to be bound to multiple objects, as you state.
If you simply don't care about the lore, by all means, it's possible, but that wasn't his point.

OT: This mod is neat, I'll track it for use on a future character I may make, but I won't be using it just yet.

I think this mod could be improved with the following:

    * Replace the old daedric recipes with the new ones; there is no point in having both available, it just clutters the smithing menus, and the original recipes would be totally redundant if you implement the next option:

    * add a recipe for smelting daedric ingots without de-constructing daedric weapons/armor; just add a smelting recipe that requires for example, 5 ebony ingots + 1 daedric heart = 5x daedric ingots.

    * add a condition to the smelting recipes for deconstructing daedric items such as: "GetItemCount [daedric item name] >= 1.0" to only show these recipes when you actually have the item in your inventory, to save on menu clutter.

i dont know what your on about being "not possible" cause you are binding the daedra to the ingot and the value i gave was an example, use 3 ingots and 1 heart to make a 3 daedric ingots to make e.g a bow worth 3 daedric ingots it sill used the exact ammount of materials as the original game so your breaking even and making things more interesting or do 3ebony per 4 daedric ingots to lessen the ammount of hearts you need without "cheating" or put 10 ebony and 1 heart for 5 daedric ingots so you have more ebony to pay to comensate for the lessened number of daedra hearts due to the abundent nature of ebony.

I got it, I got it, mine was just a try to explain the absence of what you say; to simplify it (I am pretty sure you know this as well as me), you smith the ebony ingots into an item, and then use the daedra's heart to bound the daedra into the item. The think is that sticking to lore, even if this mod was lorewise that couldn't be possible, and if we take into account that no matter the quantity of ebony ingots you only spend one heart per item, I'm not sure about your idea.

I mean, I think that one of the goals of this mod is helping about the lack of daedra's in Skyrim; if we use a "fixed" number of ingots per hearts, we are "missing" the point here. If you use 5 ingots and 1 heart or 1 ingot and 1 heart, you are either "cheating" or "loosing" because the need of more/less ingots per heart to build something, and doing so the meaning of this mod is somewhat lost.

P.S.: I'm not a friend of "poorly lore" mods, but I find this interesting, as said before.
