A lot of NPC mods I'm adding are naked by default. The added NPC's have armor and other items in their inventory but when I first encounter them they are naked, this mod included. I can take their items and give it back to them causing them to equip it but how do I make them wear it by default? I'm using the CBBE bodies
"There is currently an issue where created actors do not export their facial data (scars, make-up, tones etc) onto the rendered NPCs in game. This can be temporarily rectified by opening the console and selecting the actor in-game, and typing "setnpcweight x" for the selected NPC. However, this only sets the skin tones to a normalized state, with no facial traits."
This is info from main creation kit wikipedia website. It means that exporting faces is still bugged and i don't think it will ever be fixed. It was very frustrating before i find out i can fix textures with photoshop. I tried my best with photoshop to fix texture, anyway it still might be visible
