The download includes two esp files, use only one at a time. - Dawnstar_Fortified V 1.5 is the new version of the original file - Dawnstar_Fortified_Expanded is a version meant to be used with Dawnstar Expanded, but could be used in lieu of the other if it tickles your fancy
Compatibility: My mod, is compatible with the following mods, however some of these mods may not be compatible with each other: - Dawnstar Expanded (made a compatible version) - Better Town Textures (I recommended it highly) - Northern Bathhouses ( you can see it in the second Watchtower image) - The Grytewake Legend (may conflict with Dawnstar Expanded)
I highly appreciate that you've done v1.5 for this mod!
Just one nitpicky thing: Are you also planning to provide it as a new NMM installable package, like in v1.0? Because right now, the names of the esps in 1.5 differ from the previous version, so NMM forces me to completely uninstall the old version and install the new one. This will make the game warn me about missing esps etc. That's not a big deal for me, of course. But I'd consider it cleaner and easier to maintain if there was an updated NMM package which I can install using NMM's update feature, instead of a completely new structure.
Has anyone tried to use this mod in conjunction with The Grytewake Legend ? As both alter Dawnstar surroundings, I'd like to know whether someone got experience concerning compatibility. Thx!
Unless the location of the ship's dock station in Dawnstar has changed, it should work fine. Nothing in my mod would conflict with that spot. If you have Dawnstar Expanded then...its gonna conflict.
Tbh I think that all of the outlying towns should have some sort of palisade, (especially given the time period), so thanks for putting this mod into the realm. One comment tho, does this work with Civil War Overhaul?
Im using the Ships and Carriages Mod, but a pice of Wall is clipping through the Cariage, can you remove a chunk of the Wall please from the right side of the Image http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/15599-3-1334987943.jpg
just a thought...but simple fixes like these can be fixed by novices in the creation kit. Fact is...most modders who post here have other obligations, have jobs, families, and other commitments. So contrary to popular belief, we don't sit at our computers all day enslaved to the people who we provide a free service for.
In fact that is how i started modding, Fixing and tweaking mods to my preference.
If your going to use mods, then you need to know how to do the following: - manual install (not using NMM) - Basic understanding of BOSS - Basic understanding of the Creation Kit (or equivalent)
