This is a wonderful little mod. I been using it since late 2014. Now i'm here in 2016 and this mod is still in my load order <3
I think the elven armor rating is perfect since elven armor is considered "mid-tier" so mid-tier armor rating for normal clothing seems perfect to me. I love wearing normal clothes. Thank you so much for this mod
Tanning Rack: Ton of clothes, mostly ZERO armor, except a few Jarl clothes with light-strong armor value.
Forge: Guards shields from main holds Variant of vanilla armor sets that need high level perk unlock. (elven, thieves guild, etc)
This mod makes NO change to armor ratings on any vanilla clothes. (all still zero)
Following this mod with "Clothing Armor" by wetwire... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37227/? ...will add the slight light-armor rating to vanilla clothes, but NOT to any craftable clothes in this mod. ( ie The tanning rack clothes in this mod remain zero armor value, even after wetwires mod is added.)
A wonderful mod. As I play my game currently in a more or less hero-by-accident style , this mod fits perfectly ... adventuring through the wilderness in innocent miners clothes, you know?
Okay, I know I'm like the last person on the planet to get Skyrim (Steam summer sale, woo!) but I'm gonna leave a comment anyway, because I just found this mod and it's amazing. Days wasted, spent looking for decently attractive light armour mods for male, non-huge-warrior-type followers, and suddenly, this! Seriously, it's fabulous, thanks!
