No, this uses ENB v108, which only works with old Skyrim (DirectX9 Skyrim). You'll need to use one of the newer ENBs specifically for SSE (DirectX11 Skyrim); all ENBs on the old Skyrim (non-SE) Nexus only work with DirectX9 Skyrim.

been using this for years. if youre on a lower end pc like me dont expect 0 performance loss or 60 fps, but it looks great and is the best enb ive tried performance wise.

No FPS lost is a myth, the first time I logged in, I lost 17 FPS. I said to myself "not possible to lose so many FPS", so I went the ENB series and disabled some functions. I then found my 60 FPS and in addition it is much less dark now. Image quality remains the same

Hi, I'm having a problem with this ENB during the day. As you can see in the screenshot the shadows turn completely black when facing the sun. The only lighting mod I'm using is Relighting Skyrim and ELE but even disabling these mods doesn't fix the issue.

      A better gaming rig.
Beggars can't be choosers, you have to cut down on whatever visual enhancements you find if you want an enjoyable performance. Talking from experience.

Here's something that worked for me. Change your screen resolution to a lower setting through Skyrim prefs ini. I'd recomend getting 'bethini' here on nexus. Use Medium texture quality and reduce shadow quality to either 256 or 512 with a shadow blur of 5. All the above is configurable through bethini. It was lowering the resolution that really boosted it for me. Now I have multiple texture packs (trees, plants, landscape, clothes, armour, weapons, npc's etc). Although it's set to medium textures, certain textures such as clothing appear high def without much loss of fps. The enb helps to mask any loss in visual quality. I have a 21' screen on my Mac but use screen res of 1280x720. You'll have to make adjustments depending on your screen size. If bethini doesn't have a screen setting listed you can type them in manually. I'd google your laptop screen size to see what it can be lowered to. Hope this helps dude.
