Realistically, yes, some fighting axes are pretty much useless for woodchopping. But this is a handy mod, and sometimes it could be very frustrating trying to find woodcutter's (and pick-) axes. So...well done!
Nice! So far it seems to work well for what I need. Always did think it was odd that I could be running around with an axe capable of cleaving heads from necks and yet somehow incapable of chopping a few pieces of wood. Even if this doesn't change the animations to fit the axes, it's still quite a nice fix to this issue!
English translation: This mod enables chopping wood with all axes. I always found it illogical that it worked with the woodcutter's axe only. Unfortunately I don't know how to change animations, so it always shows your character chopping with the woodcutter's axe (if anybody knows how to change animations and feels for it, you can send me an email). I do realize that you wouldn't chop wood all the time, but I found this to be more realistic.
Das mit dem Aufwand stimmt schon und für so eine kleine Mod ist das vielleicht ein Bisschen zu viel, aber wenn ich mal ein bisschen mehr Zeit habe mach ich das vielleicht trotzdem - fänd ich irgendwie besser.
Sehr gute Idee finde ich! Nur das Problem mit der Animation wird sich nicht so leicht lösen lassen denk ich mal. So wie sich das anhört müsstest du eine eigene Animation für jede einzelne Axt entwerfen und zusätzlich halt noch n script damit das Spiel die aktuelle Waffe abfragt und die richtige Animation auswählt. Ich weiß nur nicht ob es möglich ist eine ...ich nenn es mal "globale" animation (egal mit was man hackt es is immer die gleiche axt) in viele einzelne aufzusplitten sodass das Spiel das auch realisiert.
