    FAQ

Q..I have map markers for Blackreach, Soul Cairn or Forgotten Vale on the Skyrim world map.
A..Move Atlas down in your load order. You have another mod that edits the world space.

Q..Are you going to add MCM menus
A..Maybe some day but right now the answer is NO

Q..SkyUI gives me an error message when I use the maps with no bottom bars.
A..These maps are Not compatible with SkyUI's map search feature. To use this with SkyUI, go to the SkyUI MCM Menu/Advanced/SWF Version Checking and untick the Map Menu option to disable the warning message.

Q..When I open the setup guides, I don't see any menus
A..Make sure you have the scripts properly installed

Q..Can I use the modified SkyUI map without using the ESP files? I am using SkyUI.
A..Yes. All Atlas files are stand alone mods and do not require any other Atlas file to function.

Q..When I fast travel to a new location within a city, I end up in some weird world with no buildings.
A..You installed the incorrect version for the Open Cities mod. Reinstall Atlas to fix.

Atlas Legendary is a new file and combines Atlas Map Markers, Blackreach, Dawnguard, Heathfire and Dragonborn only. You will not be able to upgrade to this, it will require a new game or a clean save, free of these Atlas mods.

MCM menu support is more about convenience than functionality. Due to the vast changes that are needed to implement it, MCM menus may or may not come at a later time.

The 2 maps with smaller icons and no bottom bar are Not compatible with SkyUI's map search feature. To use this with SkyUI, go to the SkyUI MCM Menu/Advanced/SWF Version Checking and untick the Map Menu option to disable the warning message.[/color]

Will you update for 2.1.3, and the Combined USLEEP plugin the Unofficial Patch team will make sometime before next year? As well as Version 5.1 of SkyUI?

      Hi, Kronixx.

Why on Earth have you removed the tool bar at the bottom of the map? I cannot see any reason for that at all. And why have you removed all older versions? I have used this mod since almost forever, I used Secondary Location Map Markers before that. I still have ver 1.64 and thank Talos I always keep zips and rar files of every mod I have ever downloaded, as I would utterly hate to have a map with no tool bar at the bottom. I am still mystified as to the reason for removing it.

Another absolutely Must Have mod for me, apart from Atlas, is SkyUI. But I never use their Map Location Search function as I have my own map.swf for my coloured map marker scheme, which is part of
Legwons Coloured Map and Compass Markers

Do you have any idea if the latest Atlas 1.7 will work with Legwon's mod? Atlas 1.64 certainly does. It would be nice to have a version of Atlas that has even more location markers and which I do not have to clean myself with TES5Edit, but I love my own colour scheme and do not care a whit for SkyUI's map functions.

      Cheers!

Atlas Legendary? That sound very interesting for less esp in the load order, but I can't find it. No optional files, no other mod with that name... anyone know what this is about?

edit: nevermind, found it. Its name is actually "Atlas Map Markers - Updated with MCM"
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74045?tab=files

edit: nevermind twice, it was an install option, how did I miss it in the first place?

I'm using the Legendary Edition after using the older one for years, but there seem to be an awful lot of map markers that do not get added.

Any suggestions? I have all three DLC.

For the Stones of Barenziah mission you may want to use Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers mod, I have never used it myself, but it is quite popular here on Nexus.

Atlas Map Markers will not add the icons to the map until you discover each location and they are all outside in the open world. It will not add markers to locations inside.

Thank you for the mod work. As someone who tries not to fast travel too much, this map add-on is essential. Keep up the good work

This is horrible. It's incompatible with the most recent update for SkyUI and I am having this silly pop-up whenever i open the map. This mod appears to be abandoned a long time ago. Shame.

Go to SkyUI and in the "Advanced" Tab, disable Map. It isn't "incompatible" per se. SkyUI is just reminding you that it's detecting something it doesn't know. There's literally no downside to using this mod.

Yes you are correct, I apologize for my previous comment as I was working on a huge modlist and it was quite tedious. This error was quite annoying to encounter every single time. I wish I discovered it earlier.

So random question... might not be a question that can be answered by you tbh but I'm not sure who to ask. It's just... in Vortex it says the mod requires itself... and I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. Could you help me understand?

Hey I hope this mod is still being maintained but I noticed some things: 1 is that the "Cult of the Dragon Priests" should be named "Bromjunaar" or "Dragon Priest Shrine" (which is more in line to the wiki at least) and the map marker for Shalidor's maze is mispelled "Shalndor's Maze"

I finally found a way around not having to use all those .esp's. I manually installed and unzipped it to a folder, then went through all the files and took out the 4 DLC .esp's that I needed with a couple other files related to those. I put the files in the proper data folders and to my surprise, it worked! For me, anyways.
