This is much better than the one you linked to. Blocking Animation mod doesn't even work properly half the time. Yours however is highly reliable and I have no issues with it.
This mod makes the abilities from TK combat super fast when i use them.. and also the animations don't work when i'm in first person but only in third person.
I don't want to sound critical but I found a conflict with this mod, When this mod is installed with Dual Wield Parrying, it negates all the Active Effects when you go to view your Active Effects in your Character Menu. I tested Dual Wield Parrying by itself and that mod doesn't interfere with the Active Effects in the Character Menu.
3rd person running/walking forward while blocking animation is missing. Is there a problem on my side, or this mod simply doesn't include it? If it doesn't, can it be added? Because it kind of kills the whole mod for me.
Then click Update FNIS behavior, and Exit after. I use it with Mod Organizer. Look it up on how to do it. Pretty much you gotta re-run it for new updated FNIS files (to use as a mod) each time you download a new mod that has to do with animations.
Ignore the TK dodge patch box, it's another mod that I use (which I recommend) that also requires FNIS patching.

It's dumb, cause a spell/power could do it. If it works like a torch then you hold right mouse, which is the offhand strike, making it almost pointless to use, cause the only other thing you can do with it is offhand bash, an in that case it prolly uses the torch bash, no idea, but seriously, as a Spell or FNIS, it would work. Even though it's technically cheating, cause the strike would break thru the block due to the weapons only being held with two hands. Really needs a duel block, as in both weapons put together to block.
That's not how you block irl when dual wielding, it's highly impractical and you can get yourself hit with your own weapon. Also, if it was unclear, this is a patch for another mod.
Dual wielding doesn't work how you think it works. An X would not only get you killed quickly, you are also taking away your only advantage- being able to strike with your other weapon during a block. If someone were to make a mod that allowed you to strike if you time a parry correctly combat in Skyrim would improve tenfold. And with a dual wield build, that would be much easier (maybe by giving a longer window for the successful parry or making the second weapon strike faster).
I could use this mod along side TK Dodge mod using the XBox controller if there were a way to make the parry/block action require two simultaneous buttons at the same time. TK Dodge I use the LB + Direction to dodge. I think if you can do this LB + LT would work as a compromise. TK Dodge only does so when a direction is being pressed along with LB. Or a combination like LB + RB so long as LB is held first, and no direction, to mitigate the chance of accidentally performing a shout and dodge.
You can do that, if you look in the description of the mod that this is a patch to. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9247/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D9247&pUp=1
