Guys, this was just an accidental finding while tweaking INI, don't know why it became so big I almost forgot about this mod and it surely won't be updated/fixed ever. Just like all of my other Skyrim mods.
Dammit, THIS is what I was looking for all this time. I remembered this mod from OldRim and was hoping to find it again for SE. Wish someone could take up the reins and make a port for SE. I LOVED this mod. :(
Didn't work. I made sure the esp file was activated. I also updated Skyrim.ini with the contents of the text file "Skyrim.ini.txt" found in the download, still didn't work.
Just delete the skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini file. don't worry cause it will be re-generated again when you start, you will have to reset any graphics or settings if you do this, but it works for everything that i know about.
Here's the location: C:\Users\(Username here)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim (that face was meant to be a D)
Hey i'm not to sure what 'm doing wrong because i have the right things in the Skyrim.ini like it said in eh instructions but the map is just like the vanilla one and i can only zoom in as much as i could in vanilla could someone help me please

what exactly means outdated in this case, won't the 3d tree models, streets etc. like in the screenshot#1 show up in updated skyrim versions?
Because i can move my camera as close as i want with a mod. That wouldnt be my problem.
1. But if I install the full 3d map "manualy", nothing changes. As i read in the desc i had only to copy paste the content of the skyrim.ini.txt to the skyrim.ini, and then manually copy paste the .bsa/.esp files into Data (as the mod was not outdated) so im not doing anything wrong right?
2. And about the uLockedObjectMapLOD and uLockedTerrainLOD to 16 and 32 respectivly, if the other stat doesnt work -> does that means it should look like uLockedObjectMapLOD=16 uLockedTerrainLOD=32 right?
3. what are standart ulock stats normally? It confuses me anyway, since there are threads where 8 is listed as highest value for that ulocked things, what do u guys know bout that?
4. So back to the main Q what means outdatet, what wont work anymore? Just everything, no chance? And if it still should work, why dont i have the perfect Image on my map, like the Picture #1 of the screenshots?
Would be a huge help, also if anyone else reads the posts

I would love to see this mod picked up again. I'm really glad Mikanoshi hasn't hidden it, but apparently most of the people below me don't understand the concept of 'outdated mods.' Hope that doesn't change his mind...
This mod is extremely outdated. It was made when skyrim had just came out and since then countless updates have been put into skyrim so its no longer compatible sadly ):

Try the Customizable Camera mod instead and use the view mode.
