Anyone know of an alternative mod that works similar to this one?

The mod was working just fine till a couple hours in when the infamous sleeping bug kicked in..

I used this mod while ago and it was working for me, but now I am afraid to use it for my new playtrough after reading comments below. Sad, that this mod is abandoned, it ads much immersion to game for me. Thanks tho. I hope mod author comes back and fixes problems.
EDIT: installed and tested this mod with my game, it works fine and does what it supposed to do. After sleeping Skill limit debufs disappears and let me level again.

I love this mod, but with the bug of sleeping and not remove the caps, it is impossible to use it for now.
I have endorsed it and i hope the fixes come soon.

This mod has real potential but as mentioned below, the caps do not remove themselves, i really hope this gets fixed

This mod looks really interesting, I would like to try it but I'm not sure if its compatible with another mod I wish to try also could Reflection by Chesko. From what I've read they should be since Reflection makes me sleep in order to level up while yours seems to only make me sleep in order to keep my skills increasing. Both mods together with realistic need and diseases would be amazing together. Chesko said his is compatible with everything so I guess I'll take his word for it unless you think otherwise.

I was having the same problem as others here, ie the caps were not coming off after sleeping. I don't have a solution to fix the cause of the problem, but I did figure out how to fix the symptom, so to speak. Using the CK I was able to understand the coding behind the mod, and found how the mod removes the caps. Easiest way to do it without opening up the mod in the CK to find formIDs is this:

    1: open up your console
    2: type
    help "XXXXX skill grinding"
(make sure to use the quotation marks) where XXXXX is the skill you are looking for (alchemy, destruction, etc) which lists all objects with that in the name, most importantly to the fix the SPEL class objects (there should be 7 of them)
    3: type
    player.removespell #######
where ####### is the formID of the first SPEL listed
4: look at the console report, which will have 1 of 2 results: either it will report that the spell was removed (ie success!!!), or it will report that the spell was not found, in which case repeat step 3 using the next formID

I have no idea if the caps will continue to persist next time, but at least I was able to save my character

This worked for me. But I am somewhat concerned if it left anything behind in the save after I deactivated the mod pending a fix.

The mod is working except for 1 major issue: The debuffs don't wear off after sleeping or being awake... I had sleep set to 6 hours and slept 8, then when I woke I still had all the debuffs from the previous day. I changed it to 1 hour for sleep and awake and waited an hour but still no luck.

Am I missing something here or...?

Same issue here, does not wear off at all. Waiting on a fix, nothing else fills this niche. Thanks

I was using this mod and when I leveled my One-handed skill I got reductions on multiple skills including magic.

Hi i was wondering what is different with this Mod Being a werewolf character since they cannot gain resting bonuses? Also do to that if there is any plan on making the caps work differently with werewolves then normal people?
