Have been using this for years. It's one of those mods that increases European Dark Ages style realism and immersion but is easy to take for granted because of the fundamental but behind-the-scenes way it changes the game. Endorsed!

I did not see this mod ported to SSE, but I have experimented and found that some Skyrim Classic mods work fine in SSE. I uploaded this mod's file in NMM and installed it to SSE as-is, and have not noticed any issues. I have it under Immersive Armors in my SSE load order.

I'd also like to see this ported over to SSE. I'm not using SSE yet, but I plan to be at some point in the future when SKSE64 goes into a beta mode and modders start porting their stuff over en masse. This little mod is a GIANT in my load order because it creates an immersive-ness that is totally broken when a common bandit faces you with glass weapons, etc.

I hate to be "that guy" (thought I guess this mod is "that guy" as well) but

"This mod change the complete leveled item list so that there are no longer 'fantasy' (elven, dwarven, orcish, etc) weapons and armor in the game. Only iron, steel, plate, scaled weapons and armor (and hide and leather of course). "

Isn't leather and hide armor fantasy as well? I think leather and hide were only used as armor in movies etc, it doesn't really protect you from anything.

Wrong. Leather/hide armor was very common among certain groups or classes of people. Iron or steel were expensive compared to hides and cumbersome for people who needed to move quickly and quietly.

This mod is essential for me, because I hate it when i face a bandit wearing dwarven armor with glass weapons. This mod fixes that sort of nosense without all the extra feature that other mods (IE: Morrowloot) like to add.

Hey. I just wanna say thanks. I was worried about downloading this mod for a while cause i didn't know A. How to download this, and B. If it even worked. Would you happen to know if it works with the DLC per chance?

I know this post i over a year old, but if anyone is still wondering, it does not effect DLC content, but it works with them. There is a patch for DLC content.

Doesn't seem to be working. I tried not merging with Wrye Bash and i saw the usual glass, elven, etc. I tried merging with Wrye Bash and still saw the usual glass, elven, etc. I started a new game four times and these types of gear still show up in vendors, chests and corpse loot.
