i agree with your decision to make only 8 of them and not have them respawn. werewolves are not common creatures! it's cool just as it is, dude. i don't understand why people are asking for any more than this. 8 is already a TON.
Maybe because people have different preferences than you do so they want a little more variety to the game. Personally, I felt the lack of monsters in vanilla Skyrim to be appalling. Hell, even dragons were a huge disappointment in the end. I wouldn't mind the option for a respawnable werewolf system with this mod. Everybody wins that way.
werewolves already spawn without this mod or any other mod. They spawn only at night. Why do you think one of the perks for werewolve allows you to call other werewolves. They only appear if they are around when you howl. This mod is pointless
Last I checked the sign ability to call other Werewolves to your side produces spirit form Werewolves and not actual, physical ones called from the environment...
Actually, they only spawn if you've started the campanions questline, and even then its only if you've done it up to the point where they'll turn you into a werewolf. Tales of lycanthropy allows you to get infected (which does NOT happen in the vanilla game), but there are no werewolves in-game outside the silver hand bases, which to my knowledge are all quest-locked. So really, the only way to become a werewolf with that feature from TOL, is to join the campanions....
Absolutely love this. Adds so much with so little. Placing is perfect too! For the sake of getting involved - I agree with the 8 only and non respawning. Adds both a mystery, a rarity and a sadness to them. Great stuff.
I do think your mod is awesome; but I must argue with the fact that 'Bethesda does not make spawned werewolves in the wild'. I saw a farmer transform into a werewolf in the presence of bandits, once.
I was actually looking for a mod that adds werewolf NPC's in game and i found ur mod is some what i am looking for but i have a request could u add a more werewolves that level & respawn actually maybe a level or two stronger than u but should not be that obvious...i mean maybe add people changing into werewolves so u could actually add a different story all the time like a person who is lost in the wild or wants help, offers reward & takes u into a isolated area were he transforms into a werewolf at night, takes u to a werewolf lair & u have to fight him/her/them and can get infected as well..the stories can be different every time sometimes random werewolves attack so that it doesn't get obvious that the person or NPC is a werewolf..this was what i was looking for cause i have a enchanted mod weapon that hurts werewolves & vamps more when the moons are out but no werewolves to kill sadly
also you could probably use a casual if then statement giving a condition to the trigger id think- giving time of day limitations so the transformations only happen at night
downloaded and endorsed- im wondering tho if it is possible to create hunters were you put werewolves and give them the werewolf power- then when the player enters the regan lets say A that the hunter is in give a elapsed time wait of 15 sec. before the hunter is told to force use the power you gave him and then turn him hostile - id do it myself if i had more time. and tales of lycanthropy took out the random werewolves due to toooo much scripting and scripting conflicts. what i just proposed is a simple yet elegant non conflicting way to get werewolves out there i think
