what does this have to do with the stormcloaks? its just a solitude guard armor retexture isn't it? they have nothing to do with the stormcloaks other than wanting to kill them. I don't want to be that guy but could you rename the mod to "more red solitude guard armor" or something? the name is really misleading.
I am asking you the permission to add your mod with mine concerning shields retexture and tartans (I am asking the permission to the tartan's author as well), so I could upload an "overhaul" of the city guards.

Stormcloaks seem to be the Cityguards of windhelm who chose to go down the whole Nord Supremecy for Skyrim crap with Ulfric.
The tag for the armor is stormcloak, possibly because the devs Designed the stormcloaks first and then decided it was easier to brand all the city guards armor as 'Stormcloak' as its all technically the same design just with different Colors, each color representing each town, Solitude is normally brown though I like Red better, they support Imperials there for the most part so on blahdeblahblah.

I love the richness of color in your mod, but as Kavriel said, Stormcloaks are blue so was wondering if you could make an alt for a blue set, not only for Solitude, but for all of Stormcloak. I like the darkness of the brown in the undercoat and the leather straps, since the in-game version is so washed out. There are other mods out there that have retexts on them, but I prefer the dark, chestnut brown you used on this mod. IMO, it just looks so much better. I hope you considering making it as I'm really looking forward to using one that brightens up the Stormcloak's dull uniform. Thanks!
Its actually city guard armor, Those Guards in Solitude do seem to support the empire. the Stormcloaks are the blue guys. over in Windhelm.. or.. was it winterhold? I mix those two up alot.
Though all the City guard armor in the game is the same Design as the stormcloaks, possibly because the Stormcloaks look like City-gaurdsment from Ulfrics banner gone rogue.
The Out of character name of the armor is Stormcloaksolitude. T'is the name of the Tag.
Nobody noticed, that the stormscloaks are actually fighting against the imperials and therefore are not their troops ? But the texture looks nice, the red is good, but to follow the style of the game i won't download it. You see the flag of the stormcloaks is actually a blue bear so, it has pretty much nothing to do with red in-game. so yeah, it looks good but not for me.
