I like this mod. I think you did a good job in adding these. I especially thought it strange you got a single tusk, a trunk and a garnet ring. Now some hides? I can atually use the hides. I just like to find the wacko putting a ring on a mammoth
Good immersion...but i will only add to my install if i could make a skeever-pelt coat, which i've been wanting for awhile now, or maybe a dog-hide drum, or best of all a horker-hood cloak :i
There are more wolves than you can shake a stick at to need hides from other small animals as well. Now a Mammoth hide or maybe a Troll hide, those make more sense - they are more rare, larger and would likely net more leathers as a result.
As for Foxes and Goats, I don't kill those (even though they net pelts/hides) simply because they are the early warning alarm that some bigger predator is nearby (that I can go chase instead).
Seriously, I can't travel more more than about 1-2 minutes in the game in wilderness areas and not get accosted by wolves. I actually leave wolf pelts lying after awhile - if they fall down a slope or something I don't bother chasing them, I can just travel the other direction and get attacked by more wolves anyway.
The Skeevers traped in spider cocoons dont at this time have hides.or dont in the first dungeon blackfalls barrow nor in the first Helgen escape one ...so I suspect not in any others either.

Sorry I didn't clarify. Yes, you can use the new hides and pelts to make leather.
For the question about wolves vs dogs: wolves already have pelts in the game so this mod is just taking that a step further and allowing regular dogs to have pelts too.

I'll work on getting the NMM version going asap.
