About to download this myself, and I have a request that coincides with the others' suggestions... replacing the in-game Candle Light spell with this one will be the perfect balance for players (like me) who enjoy trudging around through dark, foggy dungeons and forests. Standard Candle Light totally breaks the experience as the light emitted is (imho) wayyy too bright, and the temptation to use it when things start to get intense is too great :/ However, the degree of illumination at the cost of continuous mana drain balances out very nicely, and I'm sure many others who use dark/gritty/realism mods will appreciate it! If you were to keep this version of the mod, and make an alternate version of the mod that adds this as a new spell, that would be great!
I love this idea, but I would like to second the comment by Smoky Treats suggesting that it be a separate spell rather than a replacement. Perhaps it could simply be named Lux. This spell is great for taking a quick look around in a dark room, but when the enemies are dead and it's time to loot in earnest, the original hands-free version is still useful.
loved the idea, much more realistic, but compromise the battle. Well magelight still the same and can help if casted in ur companion, so make this mod more usable.

Well magelight still the same and can help if casted in ur companion, so make this mod more usable.
any recommendation on a load order to work with the better sorting mod? or is it just not compatible? and can it be made so if not?

I never used candle light because it was too long for my need and magelight had to be placed on something or someone.
