This was fixed in the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, making this mod mostly obsolete.
It would be nice to mention it in the description, as this mod would only be used by those who do not want USKP.
If users still experience this issue with USKP, they should first check their load order for things that overwrite USKP's files and then apply appropriate compatibility patches.
can anyone help me with aother issue in this quest?? my game crashes after I poisoned the emperor..I run awar in the bridge, the maro guys talk to me, then my game crashes..plz help..I even loaded a old save game, but still it hppns..how to fix it??
It would be nice to mention in the description that this fix was added in USKP, as this mod would mostly be interesting for those who do not want the whole USKP.
This fixed the quest for me while the bigger race compatibility mod (The one you recommended and that's packaged with the custom race mods I have) didn't, so thank you. She didn't have a voice for a few lines of dialogue but she started talking afterwards just fine.
Funny that being a vampire is what screwed me and not a custom race. Wonder how they missed adding vamp races to this quest for so long.
mc25656 This is a complete fix. It simply does not affect vanilla races, as the quest already works for them.
Rex1029, Had I come across your fix in my earlier searches, I wouldn't have bothered making my own. I put a link to your fix as well as Expired's fix within my description, as I've discovered they all share the same functionality (and, as far as I know, effectiveness for this precise bug fix) with differing implementations -- only after searching for "DB09 Fix" and "Gourmet Quest Fix" fruitlessly.

Anyway! I must go, I have a stew to cook

Will endorse later.
