Wanted to say thank you for the mod, as it made the game's original insufferable stupidity into enjoyable smartness for thousands of hours of mage gameplay for me. I liked your mod due to the better point of view it was made from which made it more elegant and organized, and thus included ingots too and made dual casting the spell, meaningful. But now that I compare almost all mods that do something similar to this and actually read your description, I only can wonder.. WhY would you increase the cast time?! I didn't realize this was an immersion mod, but thought rather it is a convenience and smaritifcation mod, wasn't it? For several thousands of right+left or single clicks the only thing I could do to bear with the endurance-testing long cast time was to use sgtm (6 or 8 and sometimes higher) command, for which I hate myself --console breaks immersion-- and now I feel stupid to have chosen this without sufficient investigation years ago. It should have been your mod with highest endorses, if only you didn't one unnecessary choice among many other good ones. If anything, this mod should add options like 5, 10, 20 at each cast (with slghtly higher than equally high magicka consumption with which longer cast time makes sense and is appreciable too) or scale with alteration level, if it wanted to keep the immersion there and not feel like cheat. But I don't wanna sound presumptuous, it's your mod in the end and this is just a user experience. Peace!
The Midas Magic Pack has a spell that converts 1 firewood to 1 gold ore to 1 gold coin (which doesn't make sense). But, nevertheless, you can convert wood to gold.
Yeah, what prompted this update is that I wanted to merge this plugin with some others using TES5Edit and the Plugin Merge script. When I loaded the plugin in TES5Edit and ran "Check for errors" on it, it showed an unresolved form ID error for some reason. It's weird, because in game, the correct form is used; in other words, it worked correctly in game. However, it's not a good idea to merge plugins with TES5Edit if they are showing errors. So to fix the "error" all I did was load the mod up in Creation Kit and save it again. Now TES5Edit no longer shows an error.
Very effective mod, I've been using it for ages. It's especially convenient to have the dual-casting options. I don't like the increased casting time, though—that's just annoying. If you ever re-release, I'd love to see that as an optional component. Sure, I can change it, but every time I uninstall the mod for whatever reason, I have to go back and re-change it.
Also, as Rah88 noted, transmuting iron ore to an iron ingot should be 1:1 like it is at a smelter.
I like your mod a lot, cause I don't see logic by transmuting 2 iron ores into 2 gold ores to be turned into 1 gold ingot, since you can turn 1 iron ore into 1 iron ingot. In chemistry, the atomic weight of iron is 55.845, gold is 196,9665, that means that if each atom of iron was turned into gold, it would bloat into +/- 4 times the weight/size.
Oh, man... the last class of chemistry I had was almost 2 years ago, I hope I'm not talking s**t.

Great mod, endorsed.
I'm currently no longer playing or modding Skyrim, butI consider this mod 100% complete anyway so I won't be updating it.
