Endorsed, and thanks for this. Got tired of my character moon jumping. So far I haven't found any inaccessible areas. Having to walk around obstacles that I used to jump over though =P
I was wondering that to. Like jabber. But I guess it's safe to try :3 Can always uncheck the .esp if I get tuck somewhere ^^ Otherwise I think this is an fantatic mod
@jabberwockxeno I have yet to find a place it in which it would. However, since NPCs and creatures don't jump and they can follow you anywhere, I think it's a safe bet it doesn't restrict you.
@Balbes I'm glad you got some use out of this tweak. I still maintain that this is, in fact, realistic. Firstly, with armor and 100lbs+ of gear, you cannot jump high. Secondly, with all that stuff, it is very hard to climb. In my experience with Skyrim so far, I haven't found an area that has needed the ability to jump any higher to progress.
@ghussak Unfortunately, I am not a modder, so I don't know. If someone could implement something like climbing, that would be amazing. Jumping is not necessary at all in Skyrim to progress. I may be wrong, but the fact that NPCs don't jump is an indication.
@WarriorWithin83 Hmm...that would be strange since I only changed player character values. I'll look into it. Unfortunately with my extraordinarily limited mod knowledge, confirmation of this would simply render a lesser fall height impossible, as well as make this mod useless, except for the Jump Height Only version.
@ellinus Yes it does sometimes create an animation glitch. I play in first-person so it does not affect me and I don't have the knowledge of how to address it.
Since Skyrim has no climbing, Realistic Jump Height is pretty unrealistic actually. Vanilla high jump is just a compensation for inability to climb on things.
Falling Damage is quite useful though. So i removed jump hight parameter from .esp and leave only damage.
For those who saying that they regularly jumping from rooftops, i'd recommend to wear a hockey goalie uniform next time, take a couple boxes of beer (bottles only), few lunchboxes, all mom's/wife's jewelry, their cat/dog/both and jump again. Oh, and don't forget stick and puck!

I guess it was a joke. And a funny one.

P.S. Why this mod is not in BOSS list yet?
