This MOD is a great idea! This page is an older version, as noted in the posts here, but what is wonderful is to see collaborative efforts to keep a great idea in the works. However, it would be helpful to have the description for this mode from Forsaken32 indicate the link to the updated work done by MisterPete. Well done all around.
Thanks forsaken, I was bummed when this stopped working with the new updates. So... I've updated this for 1.8 using the latest map.swf and hudmenu.gfx, and using the same subdued colors. But as has already been posted, there are other mods here on the nexus that are basically the same as this was.
I am reluctant to upload my fixed version, as I don't want to spam the nexus with more "Colored Map Marker" mods than needed.
To anyone who liked this mod over all the others, please send me a PM and I can send you my version.
