My litmus test of "needs" mods
(I could be biased, of course.)
I write this for those wondering why I maintain my Eat and sleep mod while there are others that are more popular and have better labels like "Immersively Enhanced Realisitc Consumption, Hydration and Rest". (I was asked this question recently.)
These are the main objectives of my mod. They are also questions/tests/measures that I can apply to other needs mod. When I first designed it for Oblivion, no other needs mod passed these 2 tests.
Are the "counters" real-world?
E.g. They are not too abstract like calories and they are not an ambiguous scale like 0-starving, 500-satisfied, 1000-full).
People don't say: "I'm starving. I need to eat 2000 calories." But...
