    God bless you for making this mod. My game messed up and I looked all over the place until I found this.

    Yeah, cant stress PopReferences post enough. Dont trust those old guides. The best way to learn about those settings is to dive into the official bethesda forums and read a lot^^

    iBlurDeferredShadowMask settings rangeing 0 - 10 have the most obvious effect on the appearance of shadow edges. HOWEVER, it seems almost any number can be used with a varying effect.

    Also, Don't trust dated .nif tweaks Guides.

    Dangit.
    Found here (http://segmentnext.com/2011/11/11/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweak-guide-graphics-and-performance/) that you two both are right.
    Will change it in the next release.

    @gianama
    Hi, I think you mean the iBlurDeferredShadowMask? Yes, it's max-value is set to 5 (as I found somewhere (goolge? Nexus?) to be the max for this setting.

    Args, thx xedios2002 - I always forget to mention to run tools as admin; mayby because I always am the admin on my own computer

    Nevertheless, I uploaded an updated version, which prompts to specify the Ini-File when it's not at the default-location, and there is a new CheckBox, which allows you to set your Ini as readonly when applying changes (it is set to checked when your ini was already protected, so you may not forget to protect your ini again once you've done it anyhow).

    ps: I can't believe that there are ppl using/liking my tool. I love you all
