For those who hate the glow, here is a tutorial on how to add one. Just do the opposite. Or, if you don't want to bother with Nifskope, make the glow texture black or almost black. The textures to edit have a "_g" in their names. Open the textures in Photoshop and make the texture entirely black then save as a DDS using DXT1 No Alpha. This is the setting for older versions of Photoshop (I use a 2018 version). Not sure what the settings are for newer versions of Photoshop.
You can use GIMP instead of Photoshop. In either case, you will need a DDS plugin. Just do a web search to find the plugin.
hi, I was just wondering if I can have permission to add these to my compilation mod I'm working on? I'm just putting a select amount of jewelry items together with a few color edits, and new gems & metals I've added. May I have permission?
Hi Petrovich! I just wanted to let you know I have converted and am still converting these for Fallout 4 (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23871/?). I have credited you as the original creator as well as posted links to your profile and this page. Hope you like the conversions, and thank you for your awesome work
I found a minor bug in V1.5 just change the Name "Skyrim" into a Russia Name. Must be some kind of dirty edit. You can use TES5Edit to fix it. Anyway, nice mod!
But what bothers me is the glowing in the dark. Could you possibly release a version without glowing? I tried to remove it myself but I failed desperatly...
I greatly appreciate the shapes of this jewelry, but the colors were far too intense, and yes, some glow in the dark! I couldn't wear most of them. I have been learning how to do recolors only since yesterday, partially to solve these issues. I've tried putting the .dds into Photoshop to give more mellow recolors with some success. But the glowing in the dark is still crazy. Hopefully I'll figure it out and remember to post again. If anyone knows what I'm missing, let me know!
Ok, maybe this is what helped: I put the jewelry texture into Photoshop and took out the alpha channel, which seems to be what makes things reflect light? And I brought down the brightness of what seems to be a spec map (such a newb). I'm still experimenting. I also have been toning down the brightness of the jewelry colors just to be less garish (my apologies to modder, just my perception)--golds are now mellow, and jewels are richer and darker. I'm toning down a number of clothing mods right now after figuring this out. I think it blends in better with Skyrim. I'm fond dull-colored fantasy worlds. An art teacher once scolded me for my fear of brightness. XD
Hard to see in the dark, as I intended! Could use just a bit more sparkle, though, so I'll play more.

The silver necklace with ruby is listed twice in my crafting menu. Is this on purpose?
