Older version including Saved-games will not be compatible with the newest version of Arcane Archery
Mod will be completely rewritten from the ground -> up
Bows will no longer be brought or handed to you from the beginning, instead they will require you to do some Adventuring from Dungeons / Bosses or Rewarded for completing a quest
New bows
Spectral Bow Shadow Damage [Damage is reduced by 50% on Undead Type] 15% Chance to rip the soul out of Target that will aid you in combat for a short time
Transcendence Bow Holy Damage [Damage increased by 50% on Undead Type] 15% Chance to force the Target to heal you
My Dragonborn gets a mist/smoke like aura when he uses arcane archery. Red for fire, blue for ice and green for shock. The issue is that the aura persists after the spell has been deactivated. It ruins screen shots the Dragonborn is in. Is there any way to turn the aura off?
Love the idea of this mod really needs work. The damage of these bows is really weak at level 16 I can only kill a bandit 1 shot while sneaking and a restless dragur takes 5 shots I installed sneaky spells so I get 3x sneak plus 1.5x spell damage and... 5 shots just to kill A restless.. Iread the description and saw the mirror image thing so I got Twin souls perk and wow horrible. The phantom bow follows way to close and pushes My character around like a ragdoll plus it detects you so now I cant even sneak anymore. The only way to do any sort of damage with these bows is to use tk combat. Also At a archery skill of 55(never trained) my destruction skill leveled 5 times I had to train Destruction just to get augmented flames. Etc . Very little damage increase from This btw.
I have an idea for a teleportation bow, sure there's TK but that's only half of what I'm thinking about. I'm thinking a bow that if fired on an empty cell, marks that spot, then if fired on another empty cell you teleport to the first mark and create a 2nd mark on that new cell. If fired on a target, it moves the target to the mark then the mark explodes or paralyzes.
I'm not sure if this got answered already, but I have this bug, that whenever I summon a bow something like a companion follows me for the duration, aka someone called "Arcane Shock Bow", it's just the quiver and the bow floating through the air with the particle effect though. The option "Click E to talk" pops up when I look at him, but I cant talk, is there a way to fix this?
Click E, ill see what i can do, not sure if there is even a fix for this, because have to use a invisible Actor for the entire bow to show up and have animation etc, to give effect as a floating bow etc

Love the idea of this mod very much, but i can't seems to "see" my bow when i cast the spell. The book is available, spell can be cast, but then the bow turn invisible and nothing came out after the "shooting of arrow" animation, even the sound effect is played. Any help?
p/s: Tried equipping the bow with other arrows. The arrow is shot and the "magic enchantment" from the bow applies.
As the spellbooks are no longer at the trader, could you suggest what dungeons or bosses we should be hunting in, or where we could start the quest? I am finding myself at a loss and I really want to try this mod out!
awesome mod, it works with better magic mod and ace archery mod pretty smootly too. just one little detail that bugs me: you Can't run out of mana even if arrow spamming, and that is with no mana regen enchs, i'd like an higher % of mana burned x shoot, what do you think about it?

Edit: never mind found fix to this equipment overhaul "geared up" is not working with this
