I have a modified 1-handed perk tree (using a particular perk mod) but it doesn't change the tree structure itself. The 1-handed tree structure still remains the same as vanilla, but with different effects in some perks. Does it mean that if i install this mod, it will only change the Dual Flurry perk while still retaining other perks (in 1-handed tree) with my modified 1-handed perks?
I asked this regarding to incompatibility you stated in the description page: "Anything that edits the Dual Flurry perk." => only change Dual Flurry perk and not other perks in 1-handed tree??
And at worst you'll have to remove/add said perk with a save in between as magic effects generally don't update automatically. Unequipping, closing inv and then reequipping might work too.
Other than no. It's safe to use.
Do keep in mind it checks right hand for a one handed weapon. So whatever you stick in the left hand doesn't matter in the slightest.
This mod says it changes Dual Flurry to work with single-weapon styles. That being the case, does Flurry still work when dual-wielding? Will it still have the vanilla function of increasing dual wielding attack speed?
Basically from the moment you pick dual wield. Every time you equip something the game rechecks the wield values to the dual wield perk values. I just make it so that it doesn't check the second hand.
@danbest82 No idea as I've never encountered that bug.. but as long as you have a melee weapon in the right hand the attack-speed shouldn't change at all.
So if you mean you put a spell in the left hand instead of a weapon and then switch back then yea I think this also fixes that.
Does this help fix the dual flurry bug that when I switch from any spells to dual weapons my attack speed is super slow. Its reported to be associated with dual flurry level 2, but I've heard that using elemental fury can mess things up also.

PS: Sorry for the late response. Not that active anymore.

Edit: So I ended up using your "Dual Flurry for all" and it seems to fix the problem since it applies the dual flurry perk to everything. Thanks.
