Added the SKSE with Dragonrend to the Skyrim Special Editon, and it worked fine I just had to type help smite in the console to find out its ID, then added it with the player.addspell command. It says it uses num 0, but i had to equip it as a power/shout and use that button instead.
Very nice idea for a mod but doesn't seem to work on my computer, the zero key doesn't do anything and the power doesn't show up in inventory. Maybe I'm supposed to download manually but I'm kind of new to mods and don't know how.
This spell is awesome for a few scenarios. 1: Dragon or vampires attacking that would otherwise kill merchants and others you don't want killed. 2: When you can't fast-travel because some random enemy is lurking nearby but not attacking you. 3: Allowing you to use Serena from Dawnguard DLC in quests where her vampire attack would normally strike allies, causing them to turn hostile to both of you. 4: When you just don't feel like bothering with a random group of enemies.
I also tried both SKSE versions (with & without dragonrend) on existing save games. The spell did not show up at all. Not sure what the issue is, but if one dude says it works, then there is obviously a mod conflict of sorts.
this mod is broken. the spell no longer appears in your inventory nor does the num0 work to activate. and once you remove the mod from the game, the game crashes when trying to save, fast travel, or enter anything that brings up a loading screen.
I added this and it did not work, so I deleted it. Using NMM for both add and remove. However, after removing the game did a Crash to Desktop on any save game or any fast travel. I did the verify cache via Steam, still CTD unless I activate Thunder Smite. Running Win 7 in an Intel i7 with plenty of RAM and Nvida graphics. How do I remove this mod???
That is incredibly weird o.o I have no idea why my mod would be doing this, I'm sorry :O Maybe there's still an active script looking for something that's not there? I'm not sure; perhaps you could look at the forum or chat for help, there are some knowledgeable people there.
I have that problem to, it's called CTD when saving autosave, quick save, normal save trigger this CTD, however I have had a same issue (but from another mods), hope this'll help you
CTD on saving fix: 1. Load an older save (as long as it doesn't have CTD on save glitch, then load it) 2. Create a NEW save (through pause menu) 3. Type in console 'player.kill' 4. Load your latest save (the one that had CTD glitch) 5. Type in console 'player.kill' 6. Try saving (I usually just use quicksave)
After my hard drive crashed last summer and I lost most of my stuff, I downloaded my mod from here to use, and it works just fine for me. Not certain why some people have had issues. :/
