to fix the bugs you need to copy the high elf voices into the darkelfmale sound folder, without overwriting anything, then you need to copy the dark elf male sound folderfrom the bsa into the sound folder in your data folder. To clarify data/sound/voice/skyrim.esm/ there needs to be two folders in there maledarkelf and femaledarkelf. If you took these folders directly from the bsa (skyrim-voices.bsa) they will lack shouts and player specific sounds (like sprinting breath gasps), so you'll need to copy the files from the maleelfhaughty/femaleelfhaughty into the maledarkelf/femaledarkelf folders respectively and don't allow overwriting. This will put the shout sounds and the player specific sounds into the folder for use. If you know what you are doing you can just copy the necessary files only , but I don't know which files those are specifically. There are also two parts to the shout files the main voice and the secondary magic sounds so even if you use a mod that adds thundering backgrounds to the shouts it won't fix the absent main voice, also for quest purposes you may need to add the voice type to form lists like shoutvoicesminusdrugar or something just match the form lists with the original voice type and it should work. I just did all the crap and I can finally shout as a dark elf with a voice.
If possible would you mind uploading the .esp I really tried to do what you did but I'm way too noob to deal with form lists and CK stuff. Ive searched through the voice files and found the folders and the shout/breath sound files for altmer, but no way I can handle the more CK-ish stuff. Would you be so kind to make available the changes you made to this mod?

I found the original dark elf male voice strangely feminine sounding, it didn't work for my character and seemed to clash with the deeper male voice used for the shouts. So I love your new voices, but this mod also removes the shout sound effects for me which is too bad. Please keep working on it!
Sound's good! I'd love to see more voice sets like this for all races - as I was honestly rather disappointed by the default Nord voice. Seems like it should've been a bit deeper.
Once you get the bugs worked out, I also wouldn't mind having this voice set available for Bretons.
