i experimented one time and replaced 1 of the Little Barons clutter nifs with a sexy statue from another mod and it worked, i can spawn a sexy statue and place it where i want
Look for TES5Edit on this site, you can use it to open the .esp file. Once in the .esp, you can redirect one of the clutter .nif files to a different one. I'm assuming that or a similar method is what Apogee used.
i downloaded a sexy statue (can't remember what mod, i'm buried in fo4 atm) then just replaced the nif. since the statue is clutter, it was compatible - the bounds ("bump into" factor) are values normally inside the nif.
@XMChEeSeCaKEG - get a BSA extractor, dump the loose files in data folder.
basically i used this mod as also a piggyback mod to place stuff i chose where i wanted, good fun and you can use tes5edit to change the name of the new item.
Please forgive necro-ing a dead thread but just like me I assume sometime in the future that someone else will look through the comments section as I have just finished doing and I would like to share something that will help someone hopefully in the future. Hopefully something I share can be used by someone else to have fun and make simple mods out of already existing loose filed mods.
You can also experiment with either Mod Organizer 1 for Skyrim LE or Skyrim SE with Mod Organizer 2. The first thing you must remember this uses Loose Files ONLY. NO BSA's.....YET. Once you have it installed and working properly in-game then you can pack it as a BSA or better yet leave it as loose files depending on the size of the folder.
Now look for a file like Animated Clutter for LE or SSE - look through and spot an animated mesh you would like to use - This mod should already be in a loose files storage already. For example pick the Knapsack mesh and once the file is installed in Mod Organizer 2 open in explorer a new folder in the MO2 Mode Directory. Name it whatever you want. Now keeping the folder paths correctly, copy the meshes folder into the newly renamed newly opened folder you just opened in the MO2 Mod Directory.
Now look through the textures on the Nexus under the Models and Textures Tab and find one you like the most. Install it as normally and once you have copy the "textures" folder to the newly opened folder with the animated Mesh. Now you have an animated mesh with the texture of your choice in a custom named mod without using an ESP!
If anyone remembers the Airport in Fallout: New Vegas then you hopefully remember the multiple banks of televisions throughout the airport. There is a file and a retexture of the TVs in Fallout 3 that play an animated full version of the Fallout 4 commercial, this also works as loose files in FONV. I combined the textures from that with the animated meshes from another TV retexture mod. I saved an ESP slot in game using loose files and having nearly 90% of the TV's in both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas display the animated commercial for Fallout 4 where Dogmeat walks through the neighborhood flashing back between the past and the current day.
Anyways, this is how you use loose files, Mod Organizer 1 or 2, meshes and textures. There are a TON of texture and mesh based mods that are also animated and they can be combined and installed in a very unique - this technique can also be used for what I call Stackable Merges. I won't go in depth, but it involves using Merge Plugins, loose files and adding existing mods to an already created Merge all without rebuilding the merge.
HI great mod, I use so many of the paintings, especially in the kids rooms. My question may be stupid, I not sure how mods work. I have a mod called. ao_doll_ v.1... It's a sweet doll with Thieves Guild armor. He's a red head, green button eyes and mustache and chin beard. You can use your imagination on who it favors. The cutest little doll you ever saw. The problem is you set them somewhere, like on the kids bed, then leave, when you come back they're floated up to the ceiling. The doll: ao's stuffed toy v1.0 by ao (Japanese local Mod). Is there anything you can do to make them stay put.
Btw, I can't find anyone who sales the picture of female thief, but I see it hanging in Bersi's store. Thanks again for this great mod, and all your hard work.
If you are doing any home decorating, Jaxonz Positioner is almost mandatory. It is easy to use and once you get used to the controls, decoration is easy as pie. Here is the link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52583
I love this mod, but I'm having an issue where the flower pots are over zealously spawning everywhere. Like my house (and Belethor's shop) OVERFLOWETH with flower pots. I really don't want to uninstall because I really like all the objects this mod adds, but omfg the flower pots are everyyyywhere. Fix?? Pls?
Also--I think the locations where this is really a problem are the Lakeview manor, Belethor's shop, WarMaiden's, and the Drunken Huntsman. Doesn't seem to be a problem in the Breezewood home, although it could be because I have a modded version. But yeah, Lakeview is the biggest issue. Everytime I go in, there are more and more flower pots on the floor. I move them around, put them away, etc., and the next time I go in: MORE FLOWER POTS EVERYWHERE. D:
Haha I'm glad to see from the comments here that I'm not the only one. I LOVE this mod but yes, walking into Belethor's and a flower pot on top of another flower pot spawns on a shelf and both clatter to the ground... go back home to Lakeview, 10 flower pots gathered in front of the fire seemingly warming themselves... they also spawn around the Khajiit caravans and remain when they leave so there will be random planters just sitting by the roadside.
If you are still using this mod and having this issue, a fix I found is to open the .esp in TES5Edit, go to the "Misc. Item" section, and remove the VMAD records on the overwritten vanilla items that have it. I'm pretty sure it was a total of four with the record inserted, a basket, 2 pots, and a goblet or something like that. While you won't randomly encounter various flower pots, bowls, and goblets, and will instead have to buy them to have them, you shouldn't have any more rampant pots or randomly replaced dishes, either. It worked for me, at least.
I'm having a problem with the merchants. All of them except Tonilia doesn't give me the option to trade with them, and if i use "addfac 51596" they sell me the normal stuff, nothing new. So I'm using the console to spawn the decoration. Anyway, it's a great mod, congrats.
In the end I got tired of chasing flowerpots and worse getting caught stealing the ferals, and did not like the dirt in my vases which I had arranged stuff in. I edited the mod with TESVEdit, but still I would occasionally load an old save file where the ferals had been allowed to run loose, and have to do a lot of stuff all over again once I realized the mistake. No feral flowerpots are allowed in my game now, I just stick to buying them from the merchants now and occasionally leaving them places..
I love this mod, learned not to go shopping for flowerpots when visiting friends, since they just teleport out of the house, but the feral flowerpots are still multiplying out in the wilds outside of my homes. Can anyone suggest a way to prevent the replacement of other glazed pottery, or stop the ferals respawning?
I have taken to removing the extras and downright stealing them if necessary and sticking them in odd barrels to be rid of them and not mix them up with the ones brought from the merchants. I have tried removing all, and have tried leaving just the ones that actually ended up in the right location, if they actually managed to reach the right location, neither method worked. Since the specific pots I am after refuse to come up for sale, I will shortly take to selling some ferals to see if I can buy them back and get them to stay put. Everyone else gets plenty of that type of pot.
I endorsed the mod anyway, since I like it so much, there are worse things that could happen besides skyrim being inundated with feral decorative flower pots.
LOL I'm having the same problem...and I agree with everything you said totally..especially that there are worse things that can happen in this game than feral pots spawning all over the place! LOL It's kinda gotten to be fun cleaning up after them. I have them spawning on top of each other sometimes! Oh well. But great mod never the less and I fully endorse also.
I am currently unable to work on or support the MODS I made for SKYRIM. Current SKYRIM modders may use the resources they find in this mod in their own mods without permission. Please credit me as is appropriate.
