nice weps indeed! i take it there is no DSR patch anywhere? for some reason mine look very low quality and the glowing runes are very smudged looking. Needs higher quality textures go to with my outfits. Nice but I'll have to pass on this one.

This was originally created many many moons ago for Oblivion.
Back then the hardware couldn’t handle higher resolution textures so these are 1k IIRC.
It was released as a gift though and people are free to use the resources here and also create new textures for it if they want.
      Have fun modding

Hi Nico. I absolutely love your work, and I have used these blades loyally in both Oblivion and Skyrim.

However I have a problem now. I have a character who uses a dual-wield knife build, and using Dual-Sheath Redux sheathes her blades behind her back. But when she does this, the left-hand blade disappears. This does not happen with vanilla blades, so I am guessing it is some interaction with your mod.

I would love to keep using your blades, but the animation glitch is unfortunate, so I have gone back to vanilla blades for now. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Create a dual sheath redux patch.
I have created all the models (left hand and sheath) required to do so for Ecotone dual sheath in SSE
They should work for creating a patch for dual sheath redux also
They are available on the nicoroshi creations download page for SSE as an optional file.

I just installed Nico's Gift and The Bow of the Drow by an awesome mod author, Nicoroshi. I am loving these mods!!! I'm using the SSE version brilliantly converted by Rallyeator. I shared some screenshots on both the original mod and SSE mod pages. I hope you enjoy them even half as much as I am enjoying these new toys!

5 smiley seal of 100% approval!!!!! I endorse and highly recommend these mods!!!
PS: I shared both sets of screenshots on all four pages. Normally I would do separate sets for each mod. However, since both these mods are by the same author, Nicoroshi, and both converted by Rallyeator I combined them in hopes to get more attention for both mods. Hope that's okay with y'all. Love these mods!!!

Excellent weapons! And they can ACTUALLY be improved! (I keep running into weapon/armor mods where the items in question were never assigned to a Smithing Perk for the purposes of improvement...)

    Great work dude! Endorsed!

I love these swords, especially the glowing runes. Big thank you, they're amazing! I actually played with two daggers looking exactly like that in DA:O.

Nico's Gift had already been my favorite sword in Oblivion.
    Thank you!

I've had the stolen-tag problem too. Mine came after I got hit with a Drauger disarm shout. When I picked the shortsword back up, the dialogue asked if I wanted to steal it. Now it has the red hand marker in my inventory, which wouldn't be a problem except I'm playing an evil character this time through, with the high chance of getting arrested that that comes with. Great mod otherwise!

      You shouldn't.
The ownership is set to "Player" for all these that I placed with the Greybeards.
You didn't console these items into your inventory did you?

Nope, just installed the mod, went to High Hrothgar and got them. Not sure what happened.

I was thinking after I wrote my previous post, I hadn't started the main questline when I went to High Hrothgar so the doors were locked, requiring a key. I unlocked them using the console and went in. I'm wondering if the game still somehow counted that as a B & E even though I didn't really pick the lock. But the weird part is, it wasn't flagged as "stolen" until after it got dropped; the other three don't show up that way. Just a thought.
