I don't know if you're still alive since it's been a few years since you asked this question, but the dev of this mod replies a few posts ago that anyone had their permission to port it to SSE. So if you can do it... please do ?
Most likely I won't make any updates also due to the reason I won't buy Skyrim SE. But out of curiosity which part isn't working in Skyrim SE? Doesn't it get loaded at all?
I rough-ported this to SE in loose files model ( because a BSA repack didn't work ) and find that the constant shadowcloak spell keeps popping on and off. It usually happens right after applying, and then for some time after standing up from a sneak position.. it also can flicker after shooting, but seems to work when picking up objects. It's early in the game so I have yet to try any of the other delightful spells, but nighteye is next on the list. I suspect the code needs recompiling as well as timing and sensitivity adjustments.. This has also caused massive papyrus log flooding and the occasional crash. I understand your intention to not purchase SE, but do please allow someone to port it for you * Bows Politely *. This mod has been an integral part of my game for a long time and I would definitely like to have this issue fixed. I never have been a programmer, or would have updated the code myself..

Hello all, I am no modder but I have learned to convert mods. I have managed to convert this one and it seems to be working, however I have no idea what to do after I have the troll marian following me. What do I need to do to turn them human again like the note says?

the cloak pops on and off and on and off depending on region, and can get hung to where it refuses to work at all till one enters a smaller cell. Riften, Markarth, Solitude are three places where it is the worst. And also.. If you would be as so kind to please consider releasing the source if you have chosen to no longer develop this mod... It has long been an essential part of my game..

So I have some version of this mod installed (just ported the files over from an old installation of Skyrim circa 2012. Honestly can't tell which one, since I don't think I'm actively using any assets from it, but I didn't want to break my old saves.
I was hanging around Riften one night when I saw an invisible smoking NPC sneaking around. Engaging him revealed his name was Ulf Urweg. He wouldn't fight, just kept trying to sneak/run away. He was also annoyingly essential. So turning that off finally killed him, but he was still invisible. Looting him yielded a Nightingale, Dark Brotherhood and Daedra armor of invisibility that as far as I can tell did nothing.
I know the NPC is associated with this mod because SkyUI console says so. But there's nothing in old readmes or the current description about it. Was this part of the scrapped quest? Anyone know about or experienced this? Should I let the little rascal go? Or rip his heart out?
Edit: read the back pages of the comments, so this was part of the quest that never got finished. Oh well. He doesn't have anything I need (using TriRings already) and there really shouldn't be that many invisible people running around so, goodbye Mr. Urweg.
Hi there, I just downloaded this mod. I disenchanted the armour with the detect life while sneaking enchantment. I added the enchantment to a flawless diamond ring with a black soul gem with a grand soul. Nothing happens when I start sneaking. I am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? Thank you!

then release what you have without the follower, and then make a small update about the follower... i really want to see this mod alive again... (and some of those enchantments... )
There's a problem with the invisibility when sneaking. I enchanted some rings and gave them to my followers, but the problem is they keep turning invisible randomly and not when they sneak with me. I particularly wanted this mod because I am a vampire and I have the Nightengale shadow walk ability where I can turn invisible when I sneak. So I wanted my followers to do the same. Yet they just vanish randomly and for long periods of time.
Omg just realize this can be a really good idea to include your mod on my page, i already did a mod that make leveled lists to include essentially chances increased to loot only magic items, depending on their complexity of number of enchantments there is a way to show them with a variety of effects on weapons. From others mods i recommand like enchanted arsenal that reune presets and your new experimental mod order if necessary. But this one mod can serve me to enchant all others vanilla items cause the rules will not do all the constant same enchantments visuals effects. SurroundingWeaponsAndRings probably in version 3(waiting more rules or more mods)
I love the mod, I've been using it for a few weeks now. Unfortunately for the love of God, I cannot get the Detect Everything enchantment to work for me. I've tried basically everything from
a. Enchanting one piece of my armor with it at a time AND having all of my armor enchanted with it b. Using Detect Life (which works) and Detect Life Sneaking (Also works) c. Uninstalling the mod completely and entirely followed by re installation.
The enchantment of convincing is listed twice after disenchanting the items into your enchantment list. The first one's description is regarding the one where there's a chance of levitating something in the air. The second one is the proper one. Minor bug really but I thought I'd let you know anyway.

Just as hint. To get the option "I want to see your inventory." you first have to make him follow you. Just like with normal followers.
